Job Description – Product Manager, Hematology
Reporting To: Marketing Lead – Hematology
Role Purpose:
The Product Manager – Hematology will support the execution of strategic priorities across the Hematology portfolio, with accountability for Reimbursed Business strategy execution, brand marketing initiatives, congress and conference management, disease awareness programs, sales force capability building, and portfolio-wide project governance. The role will partner closely with Senior Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure execution excellence, deliver impactful customer engagement initiatives, generate actionable business insights, and drive organizational effectiveness across the Hematology franchise.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Reimbursed Business (RB) Strategy & Execution
Support development and execution of Reimbursed Business strategy across the Hematology portfolio.
Work closely with Senior Product Managers, Medical Affairs, Market Access and Sales teams to drive reimbursement-focused initiatives.
Coordinate and track key RB projects and strategic priorities.
Monitor performance of reimbursed accounts and programs and identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop execution frameworks, communication materials and performance reviews supporting RB initiatives.
2. Brand Promotions, Strategic Initiatives & Analytics
Develop promotional and engagement materials in partnership with Medical, Regulatory, Legal and Compliance teams.
Support strategic initiatives across Darzalex and the Bispecifics portfolio.
Drive analytics, performance tracking and insight generation to support business decisions.
Monitor campaign effectiveness and recommend optimization opportunities.
Support planning and execution of key brand campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.
3. Hematology Conferences, Congresses & Customer Activations
Own end-to-end planning and execution of Hematology participation in third-party conferences and scientific meetings.
Lead promotional stalls, booth activities, scientific sessions, digital standees and customer engagement activations.
Manage agencies, vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
Ensure all activities comply with organizational and industry requirements.
Conduct post-event evaluations and derive actionable insights.
4. Disease Awareness & Partnership Programs
Lead Hematology disease-awareness initiatives across priority tumor areas.
Support development and execution of strategic partnerships with professional societies, institutions and ecosystem stakeholders.
Drive omnichannel awareness and stakeholder engagement programs.
Monitor and evaluate campaign impact against defined KPIs.
5. Sales Force Training & Capability Building
Drive planning and execution of training programs across the Hematology portfolio.
Support development of product training, campaign briefings, launch readiness and competitive preparedness modules.
Build capabilities that enhance scientific knowledge and customer engagement effectiveness.
Monitor training outcomes and address capability gaps through targeted interventions.
6. Portfolio Governance & Strategic Project Management
Lead cross-functional strategic projects across the Hematology portfolio.
Serve as a central coordination point between Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales, Market Access, Finance, Regulatory and external partners.
Drive governance processes, milestone tracking and action planning.
Maintain dashboards and trackers for leadership reviews and business updates.
Identify risks, bottlenecks and interdependencies and proactively drive solutions.
Support annual business planning, strategic reviews and launch readiness initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA from a reputed institute with specialization in Marketing.
3–6 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience; Hematology or any other therapy experience is preferred.
Strong analytical, project management and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in congress management, promotional material development and field engagement initiatives.
