As the NPI (New Product Introduction) Buyer you will be responsible for ensuring procurement of goods and services at highest quality, fastest timeframe, and best terms for new projects across the portfolio. Implement proactive procedures that optimize supply base predictability for deliveries of purchased components and services. Lead internal and external teams to optimize supply base quality, predictability and reduce costs. Manage and balance process and procedure changes in high change environment for highly matrixed large organization. Act as Supplier Relationship Manager to achieve program goals and deliver parts to meet program OKRs (Objectives and Key Results). This position reports to the Indirect Purchasing Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support RAD Organization from end-to-end Sourcing-to-Pay-Process independently with indirect purchasing

  • Assist supplier selection team process to ensure capable supplier base

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and processes for indirect materials and services

  • Generate RFQ (Request For Quote) to suppliers on behalf of RAD to obtain best possible terms

  • Update and streamline quote to part receipt process (compress timing)

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, assist in contract negotiations and pricing terms

  • Manage supplier relationships and assist supplier performance evaluations

  • Analyze market trends and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute sourcing strategies

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations

  • Monitor inventory levels, track delivery schedules, and resolve any procurement-related issues

  • Resolve AP (Accounts Payable) issues for suppliers to ensure timely payment

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience may be considered.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in indirect procurement

  • SAP ™ ERP experience in materials, planning, quality and purchasing modules

  • Experience with eMarketplace platforms and Ariba system is a plus

  • rack record of successfully completing complex supplier facing projects with significant business impact if time, cost, or quality deliverable are not achieved

  • Medical Device experience successfully completing a program from early development program to commercial launch

  • Demonstrated results in leading supplier projects with CMs (Contract Manufacturers) or component suppliers

  • Solve problems, work independently, possess excellent communication skills

  • Bias towards proactive planning and the ability to understand potential roadblocks and implement mitigation plans

  • Ability to execute and fastidiously review high volumes of complex change orders in PLCM system, Agile™ experience

  • Knowledge of regulated environment in compliance to ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820

  • Category/commodity experience in metals, electronics or plastics is preferred

  • May require up to 10% international or domestic travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$75,000.00 - $120,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
