The Opportunity

Opportunity for a seasoned Product Specialist to play a key role in driving the growth of our Wound Closure portfolio across Western Sydney & Nepean. In this customer-facing role, you will partner with surgeons, clinical teams, procurement stakeholders, and hospital leaders to deliver innovative healthcare solutions, support the adoption of J&J products, and improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Driving growth of the Wound Closure portfolio by achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and identifying new business opportunities across key healthcare accounts
  • Building trusted partnerships with surgeons, nursing teams, procurement stakeholders, and hospital leaders to drive product adoption and long-term customer loyalty
  • Delivering clinical education, training, and on-site support that improves healthcare outcomes and promotes the safe, effective use of J&J products
  • Developing and executing strategic account plans, leveraging customer insights to influence decision-making and accelerating uptake of new products and solutions
  • Collaborating across sales, marketing, and commercial teams to provide exceptional customer experiences, deliver value-added solutions, and support business growth

About You

  • Degree qualified with proven hospital sales and territory management experience within medical devices and the ability to drive product adoption and commercial growth
  • Passion for building strong effective relationships and driving commercial outcomes, and tenacity and enthusiasm with a true desire to understand and support customers
  • Excellent communication, presentation and clinical education skills, with confidence delivering product training and in-service programs
  • Ability to understand and communicate scientific, clinical and medical technology concepts effectively, is highly organised with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong collaborative nature to work as a team, self-starter with the ability to function independently as a field-based representative
