Position Summary

Manager, APAC, Healthcare Compliance, Performance Centre, Third Party Intermediary serves as an individual contributor and subject-matter expert within the centralized compliance operations of the Performance Center for ASPAC. This role is responsible for executing due diligence assessments, supporting process optimization, and ensuring consistent application of compliance standards across all cases. The Manager provides expert guidance to HCC and business stakeholders, supports quality reviews, and contributes to the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and methodologies related to TPI Lifecycle Management. The role is key to ensuring high-quality, risk-based decision-making that aligns with company policies, anti-bribery/anti-corruption requirements, and regional compliance expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) – Potential Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end third-party risk assessments (initial and periodic) for intermediaries and other third parties in scope, applying a risk-based approach.
  • Oversee due diligence execution (screening, questionnaire review, ownership/beneficial owner validation, reputation checks, adverse media, sanctions/PEP reviews, and red-flag analysis).
  • Assess and document risk rationale, including risk ratings, control considerations, and recommended remediation/mitigations (e.g., contract clauses, training, monitoring, audit rights). Additionally, prepare draft report to Local Working Group in partnership with HCC supporting the areas that need decision – as needed prepare a status report to regional and local TPRM matters.
  • Determine when enhanced due diligence is required; perform or coordinate deeper reviews (site visits/interviews where applicable, expanded research, and escalation packages).
  • Provide decision support to approving bodies and country/Regional compliance leadership; ensure timely, well-substantiated escalations for high-risk or sensitive cases.
  • Partner with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Business stakeholders to ensure third-party onboarding/renewal requirements are met before engagement and payment.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies, requirements, and Regional/local regulatory expectations; maintain audit-ready documentation standards.
  • Monitor portfolio risk and trends (e.g., recurring red flags, high-risk geographies, third-party concentration); recommend risk treatment actions and process controls.
  • Conduct quality reviews of TPRM deliverables; coach relevant stakehodlers on investigation techniques, risk interpretation, and clear documentation.
  • Manage service levels and operational performance (case throughput, cycle time, backlog, and exception handling); drive remediation of root causes impacting timeliness/quality.
  • Support internal audits, monitoring, investigations, and regulatory inquiries related to third parties, including evidence collection and issue remediation tracking.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of TPRM methodology, templates, and tooling (e.g., screening platforms, case management workflows, dashboards/metrics).
  • Maintain current knowledge of third-party risk standards and emerging risks (e.g., corruption risk, data privacy/cyber risk where in scope, and evolving sanctions landscapes).

Process Improvement & Operational Support

  • Contribute to the refinement of policies, templates, and workflows to enhance efficiency and standardization.
  • Support the rollout of process updates, system enhancements, or automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IM HCC stakeholders to integrate data insights from TPI approvals , due diligence, ongoing oversight into dashboards and reports.
  • Participate in testing and feedback for new systems or compliance tools.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with country compliance officers, Legal, Procurement, and Finance on complex or escalated cases. Also partner with global TPRM ensure consistency with the global policy.
  • Provide guidance on risk interpretation and documentation requirements when supporting case escalations.
  • Support responses to internal audits, investigations, or regulatory reviews involving due diligence activities.

Subject-Matter Expertise & Knowledge Sharing

  • Serve as a reference point for policies, procedures, healthcare compliance principles related to third-party risk.
  • Support training and onboarding of new Specialists in the team.
  • Stay informed of emerging risks, industry trends, and regulatory developments relevant to compliance due diligence and approvals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Compliance, or a related discipline.
  • > 5 years of experience in compliance, anti-bribery/anti-corruption, third-party due diligence, or risk management.
  • Strong understanding of anti-corruption, healthcare compliance, and third-party risk frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, high-risk cases independently.
  • Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong documentation discipline.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to provide balanced, risk-based recommendations.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages in APAC is preferred
