This is a field-based role available in all states within the United States. While specific cities are listed in the Locations section for reference, please note that they are examples only and do not limit your application. We invite candidates from any location to apply.

Purpose: The Manager of Critical Care Outcomes will report to the Associate Director of Critical Care Education. The Manager of Critical Care Outcomes will identify best practices and build a strategy to meet the needs of the field team and customers. This role will work to improve critical care outcomes by partnering with the commercial field and customers to implement best practices. In addition, the Manager of Critical Care Outcomes will assist customers in the critical care environment through education, working with the franchise leading to implementation of best practices to improved patient outcomes.

You will be responsible for:

  • Identify SF trends and educational opportunities for external and internal teams

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to identify best practices leading to improved patient outcomes in AMICGS, develop a strategy to implement identified best practices into field activities leading to improved outcomes and reduce preventable adverse events.

  • Educate and train the commercial field on effective use of Salesforce, ensuring accurate documentation, improved data integrity, and enhanced ability to drive outcome-focused customer conversations.

  • Compiles best practices, pathways and care delivery models that align with patient identification and improved patient outcomes.

  • Serves as a subject matter expert to the commercial field team on outcome improvement and implementation of best practices in critical care departments.

  • Partner with key customers to assist in implementation of best practices and CGS protocols designed to improve outcomes, including early recognition of patients in cardiogenic shock and preventable adverse events.

  • Collaborate with the Medical Office, Prof. Education, and marketing, to align on strategy in implementing the leader’s intent in critical care departments.

  • Align with other commercial and training team members globally to develop and implement critical care training and reduce variability.

  • Develop relationships with Critical Care Departments and Societies leading to partnerships in educational initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Registered Nurse

  • Minimum of 6 years of work experience with 5 years of Cardiac Critical Care experience

  • Demonstrated leadership experience

  • Ability to plan and execute large scale educational events (within Abiomed preferred)

  • Ability to build a strategic plan based on data insights (within Abiomed preferred)

  • Proficient in MS Office and Tableau

  • Experience navigating Salesforce and entering cases

  • Strong computer and organizational skills

  • 75% travel required

Preferred

  • Master's degree

  • Experience with designing and implementing programs in the hospital setting.

The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.

This position is eligible for a car allowance through the Company’s Fleet program.
