We are searching for the best talent for a CAR-T Inventory Control Specialist based in Raritan, NJ.

The CAR-T Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for being the subject matter expert (SME) for all CAR-T warehouse functions. They will develop, report, and maintain department measures, GDP/GMP compliance, safety process, and support of continuous improvement, participating and/or leading cross-functional teams and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs inventory control activities maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing products and supplies. Through digital and manual counting you will identify discrepancies with inventory reports and provide these reports to management
  • Initiates required Cycle Counts for the Warehouse and production areas
  • Identifies capacity risks and generates reports/takes action on frequency of shipping to off-site storage facility
  • Verification of Material transfers and movements/maintain accuracy of system transactions and physical movements
  • Partners closely with Shipping & Receiving Clerk to ensure orders and deliveries are set up and accurate in the SAP System
  • Ensure A,B,C,D Cycle counts are being performed and on time
  • Assesses capacity and runs capacity reports across temperature units
  • Assists in regulatory inspection and perform safety and quality audits
  • Train and follow standard operation procedures and work instructions
  • Follow GMP guidelines and safety guidelines and regulations
  • Ensure accurate handling, storage, labeling and safe handling of materials in all areas

Qualifications:

Education

  • Minimum of an Associates Degree or equivalent required.

Experience and Skills:

Required

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inventory management/or logistics
  • Experience in warehouse operations in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) manufacturing environment
  • Experience using material handling equipment
  • Proficient with SAP or similar inventory management system
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Attention to detail to identify defective products

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Forklift Certified is preferred
  • Ability to operate Manual Pallet and Electric Pallet Jacks
  • Experience with Cryopod Filling Station and Cryofreezer/ LN2 Handling
  • Knowledge with Cold supply chain

Other

  • Availability to work Monday-Friday 6 AM to 2:30 PM and weekends as business needs dictate
  • Ability to accommodate changes in the schedule including working in other shifts as per operational needs is arise
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written) required

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$52,500.00 - $84,525.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
