This role provides strategic and operational leadership for Service & Repair across North Cluster and Mexico, supporting the Commercial organization by ensuring high‑quality technical service, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The leader is accountable for translating commercial and customer needs into effective field service execution, developing strong teams, and driving continuous improvement across service delivery. The role has a direct impact on customer experience, business continuity, and brand reputation for DePuy Synthes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage Service & Repair teams across NC and Mexico, including performance management, coaching, and talent development.
Execute regional Field Service operational plans aligned with commercial objectives, service KPIs, and customer commitments.
Ensure consistent, high‑quality installation, maintenance, and technical support of DePuy Synthes products in customer environments.
Partner closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
Drive compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards across all Field Service activities.
Monitor and improve service performance metrics, customer feedback, and operational efficiency.
Manage resources, schedules, and service coverage to meet regional demand and service‑level expectations.
Champion Johnson & Johnson Credo values and leadership behaviors across the Field Service organization.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Technical, Business, or related field).
Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
Experience and Skills
Required:
6–8 years of relevant work experience in Field Service, technical operations, or related commercial support functions.
Demonstrated people‑leadership experience managing technical or service teams.
Strong understanding of field service operations, customer support models, and performance metrics.
Experience partnering with Commercial or Sales organizations to support business objectives.
Ability to lead operational execution while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred:
Experience in medical devices, orthopedics, or regulated healthcare environments.
Regional or multi‑country leadership experience across Latin America.
Strong change‑management and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
Other:
Languages: Spanish required; English proficiency required for regional and global collaboration.
Travel: Up to ~30–40% regional travel across NC and Mexico.
Certifications: Technical or service‑management certifications preferred but not required.
Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required due to field and customer site travel.
