Job Description:

We are recruiting for the Senior Product Manager, Payroll & Time, located in Bogota, Colombia.

Within this context, the Payroll & Time portfolio focuses on the digital products, workflows, and experiences that enable accurate pay, compliant time capture, efficient exception handling, and reliable workforce time processes across the enterprise. The portfolio is responsible for advancing compliant, reliable, and user-centered capabilities that strengthen operational efficiency, improve service quality, and reinforce trust in critical employee services.

The Senior Product Manager, Payroll & Time is accountable for defining and advancing a product domain strategy that translates enterprise priorities into differentiated employee and HR outcomes. This role leads roadmap execution and value delivery across the domain, with responsibility for shaping product direction, accelerating adoption, and improving compliance, accuracy, efficiency, and operational performance.

Operating within the HR Digital product model, this leader partners across HR COEs, Global Services, Payroll, Time program owners, Digital, Data, Engineering, and Delivery teams to drive end-to-end product outcomes across payroll and time journeys. The role serves as the primary product owner for the assigned domain, with accountability for business outcomes, adoption, and operational health, while partnering closely with the Product Director, Total Rewards & Pay on portfolio alignment, prioritization, and investment tradeoffs.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic Product Ownership (45%)

  • Contribute to the domain-level product strategy and roadmap for Payroll & Time, aligned to enterprise HR vision and portfolio priorities.

  • Translate enterprise needs, payroll requirements, compliance expectations, and employee insights into cohesive end-to-end product experiences, including workflows, business rules, controls, and role-based interactions.

  • Define and track outcome-based success metrics measuring pay accuracy, case resolution, experience, efficiency, data integrity, and operational performance.

  • Manage the product lifecycle across Innovate → Grow → Sustain, identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, scale, or retire capabilities.

  • Contribute to value hypotheses and benefits realization for domain-level investments.

Delivery & Cross-Functional Leadership (35%)

  • Lead cross-functional product squads, partnering with Product Delivery, Experience Design, Data, Engineering, Payroll Operations, and HR Operations.

  • Own backlog prioritization, dependency management, and delivery sequencing within the domain.

  • Partner with HR COEs, Global Services, and process owners to balance global standards, local compliance needs, and user experience.

  • Identify risks, tradeoffs, and constraints, escalating appropriately to the Product Line Leader.

  • Ensure high-quality execution, adoption, controls readiness, and operational readiness of delivered capabilities.

Continuous Improvement & Enablement (20%)

  • Represent the voice of employees, managers, HR partners, and service teams through continuous discovery and feedback loops.

  • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights, operational learning, and service performance trends.

  • Mentor Managers and Analysts, strengthening product craft, data fluency, and HR technology capability.

  • Contribute to product standards, patterns, and ways of working across HR Digital.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.

  • A minimum of 7–10 years of experience in product management, HR technology, digital product delivery, or related roles is required.

  • A minimum of 5 years of HR or HR-adjacent experience is required.

  • Proven experience owning domain-level product strategy and delivery, with accountability for measurable business and experience outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of HR operating models, payroll and time processes, and digital platform ecosystems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex, matrixed environments and influence across organizational boundaries.

  • Proficiency in modern product management and agile delivery practices, including backlog management, prioritization, and iterative value delivery.

  • Ability to translate complex process and technology concepts into clear product direction, decisions, and execution priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Workday, Payroll and broader HR digital ecosystems is preferred.

  • Experience applying automation, analytics, or AI to payroll, time, or related HR service workflows is preferred.
