Role overview
Responsible for achieving pharmaceutical product sales to new and established hospital accounts to achieve sales objectives and greater market penetration. This job is eligible for sales incentives / sales commissions.
General roles & responsibilities
- Builds a plan to achieve objectives for Janssen products through sales and servicing of all hospital accounts in a prescribed territory.
- Schedules appointments and makes preplanned sales presentation to customers. Initiates contact and schedules appointments with potential new customers.
- Makes regular visits to customer locations to collect information on orders and market conditions.
- Develops customer and product focused presentation packages for sales.
- Follows up with customers to resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure a timely resolution.
- Relays relevant market information to management. Identifies potential impacts to business.
- Recommend areas for future growth.
- Prepares sales reports and documents as required. Provide input to sales forecast.
Role requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales and providing solutions based on customer need.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in establishing relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Capability to thrive in a driven environment.
- Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
