Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one “clean” ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains.
This program will simplify the Innovative Medicine ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes to have a cost-effective, fit-for-purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Innovative Medicine business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.
We are searching for the best talent for a Business Cutover and Hypercare Manager! This hybrid position will be located in Titusville, New Jersey with alternate locations to be considered in Bogota, Colombia and Markham, Ontario, Canada.

This Manager plays critical leadership role with the J&J Innovative Medicine (IM) Transcend team and serves as a member of the Deployment team. The Manager is accountable for the creation and ongoing execution of the Business Cutover and Ramp-Up plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops detailed Ramp Down, Cutover, and Ramp Up (Hypercare) checklist and project plan incorporating operational and business-related tasks and resources aligned with technical milestones.
- Responsible for detailed project management, successful planning and execution, and resolving discrepancies or process issues related to cutover and hypercare.
- Conduct business readiness assessments/ tabletop exercises to ensure all systems and processes are prepared for Cutover.
- Develops command center logistics, communication and escalation plan, and command center documentation (policies, procedures, downtime processes).
- Coordinates business requirements, resources, and support structure for Go-Live/ Hypercare including staffing and overall logistics.
- Provides Cutover and Hypercare status reporting to project leadership and key stakeholders.
- Ensures entry into and exit out of Cutover Stage Gates/ Go Live are met including the final Go/No-Go meetings.
- Acts as the point of escalation for all business cutover and hypercare issues, proactively bringing about appropriate interventions when deliverables may be jeopardized.
- Contributes to development of back out / contingency plans for Ramp Up / Go Live Period.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of leading Cutover & Hypercare on large complex business transformation programs.
- Strong customer focus (internal & external).
- Experience with Agile Methodology.
- Experience effectively leading projects, timelines, resources, and change management.
- Solid sense of urgency and ability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, or large transformation programs
- People management and development experience
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Operations

- 25% - 50% travel availability
