We are searching for the best talent for Manufacturing Supervisor to support our MedTech Orthopedics business in Grecia, Costa Rica.
Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate the effective implementation of production plans
through team leadership, training & development, work allocation, performance management and
appraisal within budget and in line with quality and safety requirements
You will be responsible for:
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate
Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
- Effectively manage/allocate manpower using resource scheduler, flexibility matrix, etc.
- Motivate and develop staff in line with the standards of leadership.
- Assist in the selection of new employees as required to meet business needs
- Facilitate a team-based approach.
- Complete performance appraisals in a timely manner.
- Effectively manage absence, lates & disciplinary matters in a fair and reasonable manner in line.
- With company policies and credo values.
- Establish individual goals and objectives and measure actual performance.
- Develop a credo-based culture, establish credo teams to focus on specific indices.
- Provide timely feedback to employees on performance.
- Communicate with staff on a regular and consistent basis as defined.

Qualifications / Requirements:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
University bachelor’s degree: Engineering/Business/People Management.
