We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Financial to provide financial support to the Global Legal Organization.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping shape financial decisions across the Global Legal Organization, supporting enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, and improving visibility into Legal spending. You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with Finance and Legal business leaders while gaining ongoing exposure to senior levels of management.
You will support quarterly close activities, develop business forecasts and updates, prepare quarterly financial results packages, and contribute to headcount and organizational planning. This is a highly collaborative role where your analysis and insights will help leaders make informed decisions, improve processes, and strengthen financial transparency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the quarterly Legal charge-out process, including analysis, recording, stakeholder coordination, and opportunities to improve efficiency and transparency.
- Own key business planning and forecasting processes for assigned areas, helping translate financial insights into clear recommendations for business partners.
- Partner with Legal Operations and Finance teams on financial forecasts, quarterly close requirements, accruals, and related reporting needs.
- Create reporting and analytics that improve transparency, tell a clear business story, and enable better decision-making for Legal and Finance leadership teams, including Executive Committee stakeholders.
- Partner on the design, deployment, and adoption of technology solutions that streamline and standardize analysis and reporting, including Corporate Function rollout activities for key Legal and Finance initiatives.
- Leverage analytics to identify optimization opportunities, simplify and standardize processes, and unlock incremental value through continuous improvement.
- Lead complex financial analyses, prepare management presentations, and provide decision support for business partners and ad hoc strategic initiatives.
- Support a strong compliance and controls environment by ensuring requirements are completed accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, analytical finance professional who enjoys solving problems, working with cross-functional partners, and using data to tell a clear business story.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in finance and/or accounting is required.
- Strong experience in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics, with a solid understanding of accounting and internal control principles.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality results in a collaborative, matrixed organization.
- Strong communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to build trusted partnerships with stakeholders across the organization
- Experience with digital tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, CFIN, Anaplan, or SigniFi with a proven skillset for digital capabilities to drive automation and enhanced data analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting corporate functions, Legal, shared services, or other complex global organizations is preferred.
- A curiosity for learning, comfort with data and technology, and an interest in using digital tools to improve processes and create measurable value.
- Ability to think creatively, strengthen business processes, and work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- This position will be located in Bogota, Columbia
- Demonstrates an understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, including awareness of responsible and ethical AI practices, and has experience generating effective prompts to boost efficiency and productivity.
