We are searching for the best talent for LATAM HEOR, Pricing & RWE Center of Excellence to be in Brazil, Mexico City or Colombia.
Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Health Economics, Pricing & Market Access is a strategic regional role within the LATAM HEOR, Pricing & RWE Center of Excellence (CoE). The individual will serve as a key partner to local and regional Market Access teams, Finance, Global Pricing, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive robust pricing governance, evidence-based HEOR deliverables, and value-focused decision making across Latin America.
This position combines strategic pricing, health economics, and stakeholder leadership responsibilities, supporting both in-market brands and future launches. The role is expected to translate complex market access and pricing challenges into actionable recommendations while ensuring alignment with regional and global governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Pricing Governance
- Lead governance processes for pricing business cases across LATAM.
- Review strategic pricing recommendations and ensure alignment with corporate pricing principles.
- Coordinate discussions between local affiliates, regional leadership, Finance, Market Access, and Global Pricing teams.
- Support approval processes and escalation of complex pricing topics.
- Monitor governance metrics and continuously improve pricing processes.
Pricing & Access Strategy
- Provide strategic advice on launch pricing, lifecycle pricing, net price strategies, and price optimization opportunities.
- Assess the implications of pricing regulations, reference pricing systems, and reimbursement environments across LATAM.
- Contribute to pricing frameworks and decision-support models.
- Evaluate competitive pricing dynamics and market trends.
Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) / HTA Support
- Partner with local and regional teams to ensure HEOR deliverables that support market access objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance on:
- Cost-effectiveness analyses
- Budget impact analyses
- Reimbursement dossiers
- Value communication
- Collaborate with medical affairs, market access, and external affairs teams to strengthen value narratives and evidence packages.
Cross-functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to local affiliates and regional leadership.
- Drive alignment among local, regional, and global stakeholders.
- Facilitate decision-making in highly matrixed environments.
- Lead governance forums and cross-functional working groups.
- Communicate complex topics effectively to senior leadership audiences.
Capability Building
- Promote sharing of best practices across the region.
- Support development of pricing and HEOR capabilities within LATAM.
- Contribute to training initiatives and knowledge-sharing programs.
- Coach and mentor colleagues on pricing, value, and access topics.
Qualifications
Required
- Advanced degree in Health Economics, Economics, Public Health, Pharmacy, Medicine, Business, Epidemiology, Health Policy, or related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Market Access, HEOR, Pricing, Healthcare Consulting, HTA, or related healthcare functions.
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems and reimbursement environments across Latin America.
- Knowledge of HTA methodologies, reimbursement pathways, and pricing governance processes.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholders.
- Experience supporting pricing and/or market access decisions for innovative medicines.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred
- Experience working within a multinational pharmaceutical or healthcare organization.
- Experience supporting product launches or lifecycle management strategies.
- Familiarity with economic modeling, evidence generation, and value communication.
