As a member of IMFT, you’ll be at the heart of delivering a coordinated, multi-functional transformation that optimizes resources, investment allocation, and value creation across the organization.
The IM UAM Governance Manager is accountable for establishing and maintaining governance frameworks, deployment and monitoring of health checks, SAP GRC governance processes, and cross-system SoD capabilities that enable consistent and compliant UAM execution across all deployment waves.
Working closely with internal UAM GTO and Solution Delivery teams and other stakeholders such as IT Security, this position ensures governance standards, quality controls, risk management processes, and health checks are embedded into delivery activities and are consistently driven throughout the deployment lifecycle.
UAM Governance Framework & Operating Model
- Continuously improve the UAM Governance Framework, UAM Taxonomy, Governance Playbook, standards, templates, and operating procedures.
- Define governance requirements, decision forums, RACI models, escalation paths, and accountability models across deployment and run-state activities.
- Establish governance standards that drive consistency across SAP S/4HANA deployments and integrated applications.
- Ensure governance processes remain aligned with evolving business, regulatory, and technology requirements.
UAM Governance Framework & Operating Model
- Continuously improve the UAM Governance Framework, UAM Taxonomy, Governance Playbook, standards, templates, and operating procedures.

- Drive continuous improvement of the UAM operating model through lessons learned, deployment feedback, and governance maturity assessments.
Health Checks
- Build, implement, and maintain the health checks covering all deployment phases.
- Define stage gates with entry and exit criteria
- Supervise execution of deployment health checks and ensure findings, actions, and decisions are formally supervised.
- Provide governance transparency of deployment quality, readiness, risks, and open actions.
- Raise unresolved issues and control gaps impacting deployment success.
Leadership & Team Development
- Establish governance priorities, objectives, and execution plans.
- Develop a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and governance excellence.
Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in User Access Management (UAM), SAP Security, SAP GRC, Access Risk Management, Identity & Access Management, or related governance disciplines.
- Experience supporting large-scale SAP ERP and/or SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, including global deployment initiatives.
- Demonstrable experience crafting, implementing, and governing:
- User Access Management operating models
- Governance frameworks and governance playbooks
- SAP GRC Access Control processes
- Segregation of Duties (SoD) and Sensitive Access controls
- Cross-System SoD governance and monitoring capabilities
- Experience driving organizational change, governance adoption, continuous improvement, and operational maturity initiatives.
- Proven ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced, and frequently changing environment Strong collaboration and stakeholder Management, including ability to influence and challenge
- Passion for motivating change and ability to encourage business adoption of new processes and technology
