Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The Commercial Education Manager is responsible for designing, integrating, and delivering end-to-end commercial and professional education solutions across DPS China. This role focuses on building scalable commercial training and professional education programs that combine practical commercial skills, leadership development, and digital learning products. The Education Manager partners with business and HR stakeholders to ensure learning initiatives drive capability improvement and business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Professional Training
Identify commercial, sales management, and professional education needs across DPS China.
Design structured capability frameworks and curricula for commercial excellence, sales management, and role-specific professional education.
Develop and deliver high-impact instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs.
Ensure training effectiveness through clear learning objectives, practice-based design, assessments, and post-training reinforcement.
Support talent programs such as Hi-Po development and Field Sales Talent initiatives.
Digital Learning & Education Product Design
Translate learning and business requirements into clear digital learning product specifications and roadmaps.
Design user-centric digital learning experiences, including microlearning, e-learning modules, and blended journeys.
Define validation, testing, and feedback mechanisms to ensure learning adoption and effectiveness.
Explore and incorporate emerging technologies (e.g., AI-enabled personalization, data-driven recommendations) where appropriate.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Delivery
Partner closely with BU commercial leaders, HR/Talent Development, IT/Digital teams, and external vendors.
Manage end-to-end solution delivery from concept through rollout, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
Track project timelines, scope, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
Evaluation, Iteration & Continuous Improvement
Design and implement evaluation frameworks to measure learning adoption, capability improvement, and business impact where applicable.
Collect learner feedback and learning analytics to iterate on content, design, and digital solutions.
Contribute to the long-term evolution of DPS China’s education ecosystem and capability roadmap.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree or above. Preferred fields: Business, Education, Digital/Technology, Human Resources, or related disciplines.
Experience
5–8 years of relevant experience in commercial capability development, sales training, leadership development, or digital learning/product design.
Experience in commercial, sales, or business-oriented organizations is preferred.
Exposure to product thinking, UX/user-centric design, or digital learning platforms is a strong advantage.
Orthopedics background or experience in orthopedics/medical devices is preferred.

Strong structured problem solving and project management skills.
