The program is designed to standardize processes and data across Plan, Make, Source, Deliver, and Finance, simplify financial accounting, and enable more consistent reporting across Finance teams. By building a scalable digital backbone, IM Transcend will strengthen business agility and address critical system modernization needs for the future.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of finance capabilities within the Pharm Transcend program. Johnson & Johnson is seeking a leader with strong experience in ERP Finance, integrated financial processes, Management Accounting, CFIN, and end-to-end solution design to set direction, drive implementation, and advance global standardization across end-to-end finance operations. The Transcend Product Leader Finance will also serve on the Pharm Supply Chain Finance JJT leadership team.
As a key member of the Finance Transformation team, the Transcend Product Leader Finance will lead a team of 10+ Johnson & Johnson experts and 20+ consultants to deliver standardized Innovative Medicine S4 Finance technology solutions globally. This role requires strong people leadership, including talent development through Johnson & Johnson’s 3E model (Education, Exposure, Experience), and the ability to influence across functions, technologies, and programs. The leader will be responsible for platform governance, continuous improvement, strategic capability enablement, human-centered design, and integration across the digital ecosystem. In close partnership with Template Owners, Process Owners, and Deployment leaders, this role will help drive multiple concurrent deployments, align resources, and support demand and enhancement intake across Finance partners.
The Transcend Product Leader Finance is responsible for the integrated solution design, in partnership with the Corporate Finance CFIN team, supporting financial flows across the following primary functions:

Responsibilities:
Leadership
- Lead the Transcend Finance technology team with visible, effective leadership.
- Provide proactive guidance and alignment to foster an effective, high-performing team.
- Stay closely engaged with team members and ensure they have the support, clarity, and resources to succeed.
- Use continuous feedback and Johnson & Johnson leadership principles to drive functional and non-functional results.
- Serve as a primary contact for cross-functional leads and program management to shape outcomes, anticipate risks, and resolve issues.
- Drive talent development planning and represent the team in leadership forums.
- Lead a global team of Product Analysts through design, execution, and deployment.
- Coordinate, coach, and motivate the team to deliver plans while improving performance.
- Help grow the JJT organization to support global intake, delivery, sustainment, and parallel Transcend releases.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Roadmap & Backlog
- Own the vision and prioritization of Finance technical features and enhancements to meet business needs.
- Define and maintain an integrated Finance capability roadmap aligned to deployment, operations, and enhancements.
- Partner with business Product Owners to align on business and technical capability vision.
- Work with vendors, SAP, and industry experts to refine or replace capabilities and lead in key areas.
- Set technology roadmaps that deliver Finance requirements efficiently and effectively.
- Balance business value and technical feasibility while prioritizing features, cost, and delivery efficiency.
- Refine the backlog with technical features and epics, ensuring supplier capacity and architectural integration are clear.
- Support Product Owners in backlog prioritization, constraints management, dependency resolution, and demand intake.
Solutioning
- Lead solution design and implementation of Intercompany capabilities for Innovative Medicine Finance on S4 and across the ERP ecosystem.
- Drive process standardization and best-in-class ERP Intercompany design, including Intercompany Sales and Toll Manufacturing.
- Conduct integrated impact assessments with CFIN and other programs to strengthen end-to-end Finance capabilities.
- Partner with SAP and capability experts to define best-in-class solutions and release sequencing.
- Partner with business and functional teams to deliver best-fit technical solutions aligned to Transcend standards.
- Lead product and platform option selection with Engineering, balancing technical readiness and debt.
- Provide technical leadership for ERP architecture and integration across end-to-end Intercompany flows.
Delivery
- Own technical delivery and value realization with the business workstream lead.
- Lead the integrated build with partner teams to ensure compliant, fit-for-purpose end-to-end solutions.
- Oversee technical testing and support planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing.
- Ensure compliance requirements, SDLC documentation, system configuration, and related activities are complete and current.
- Measure capabilities against demand, complexity, business challenges, and improvement opportunities across value streams.
Required Qualifications:
Required Minimum Education: Degree in Finance
Required Years of Related Experience: A minimum of 15 years of dynamic leadership experience in program and people management roles within Operations, Supply Chain, or large-scale transformation programs. A minimum of 10 years of Supply Chain Technology experience is required. A minimum of 5 years of ERP platform experience in the healthcare or health services industry is required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Domain Expertise
- Strong knowledge of SAP ERP integration across Production Planning, Materials Management, Sales & Distribution, Financial Accounting, and the broader ERP ecosystem. Applied knowledge of S/4HANA is preferred.
- Strong Knowledge of SAP-ERP integration across Production Planning, Materials Management, Sales & Distribution and Financial Accounting and System Integration with the ERP ecosystem. Applied knowledge of S/4 HANA is preferred.
- Understanding the end-to-end business process linkages across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Finance and Master Data.
- Experience in the pharmaceuticals or healthcare industry, with solid knowledge of SOX and GxP compliance requirements.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and a strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle Management, including documentation requirements.
