Marketing Specialist – Electrophysiology - MedTech SP
Position Overview
The Marketing Specialist – Electrophysiology will lead customer engagement initiatives, congresses, scientific events, and promotional activities while supporting product management and commercial planning activities within the EP BU in Brazil.
This role is responsible for driving customer-facing programs, managing marketing investments, supporting product strategies, and contributing to business performance through cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative and customer-focused professional with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Events & Customer Engagement
- Lead planning and execution of congresses, customer events, workshops, promotional activities and internal events.
- Manage event strategy, logistics, budgets, execution, and post-event evaluation.
- Partner with Sales, Clinical, and Professional Education teams to deliver impactful customer engagement initiatives.
- Build relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, scientific societies, and key customers.
- Support development of promotional materials and communication assets.
- Monitor event effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Product Management
- Support product lifecycle management and execution of portfolio strategy.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs.
- Support product launches and commercialization activities in collaboration with regional and global teams.
- Develop product positioning, value propositions, and marketing materials.
Commercial Planning & Business Performance
- Support forecasting, demand planning, and S&OP activities.
- Analyze sales performance and business trends to support decision making.
- Contribute to pricing analyses, business planning, and annual operating plans.
- Monitor key business indicators and recommend actions to improve results.
Budget Management
- Manage the A&P budget and related marketing investments.
- Monitor spending, ROI, and budget forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial and procurement policies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate initiatives across Sales, Clinical, Professional Education, Finance, Supply Chain, and HEMA.
- Support sales force effectiveness through marketing tools, insights, and training resources.
- Lead cross-functional projects and drive operational excellence.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Preferred fields: Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or related fields.
- MBA or postgraduate degree is a plus.
Experience & Skills
- Experience in Marketing, Product Management, Commercial Excellence, Business Planning, or related areas.
- Experience managing customer-facing events, congresses, and marketing programs.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and investments.
- Knowledge of forecasting, demand planning, and S&OP processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Intermediate English, including conversational use.
- Availability to travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical devices, cardiovascular, or electrophysiology markets.
- Experience supporting product launches.
- Knowledge of healthcare customer engagement and scientific event management.
- Exposure to pricing, business planning, and financial analysis.
- Experience with physician education programs and KOL engagement.
