This position is a critical part of the TALVEY and TECVAYLI marketing teams and will work closely with external parties and field-facing teams to identify and implement strategies that enable adoption of J&J’s MM bispecifics in the community oncology setting (i.e., community hospitals and community oncology clinics). The individual will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing strategies and tactics, external partnerships and novel solutions that help community customers successfully operationalize and adopt J&J MM bispecifics across new accounts. The Product Director will work closely with multiple functions including Policy and Advocacy, Franchise Marketing, Field Teams (including Bispecific Area Business Specialists, Oncology Key Account Managers, and Oncology Sales), Business Analytics, Multiple Myeloma Market Development team, and outside vendors such as Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOS) and leading advocacy / trade organizations to execute key commercial community expansion activities. This position reports to the Group Product Director, Bispecific Community Expansion.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leads development of comprehensive marketing content, programs and solutions intended to address key bispecific adoption barriers facing community oncology and facilitate new community account activation. These will have an emphasis on enabling operationalization at new accounts and target key operational stakeholders such as pharmacists.
Shape strategy and oversee successful implementation of external partnerships and educational programs / offerings aimed at improving community account operational readiness with key entities, including leading national and regional advocacy and trade organizations, provider GPOS (via fee-for-service programs) and other third parties. Work with other cross-functional partners such as franchise marketing, Strategic Customer Group and Policy and Advocacy to ensure all external partnerships and programs align with brand strategy and address most pressing community adoption barriers. Establish compliant tracking of program execution and report out relevant KPIs / metrics.
Leads pharmacist market development workstream including pharmacist KOL identification and mapping. This will include oversight of a third-party vendor to support mapping, collaboration with relevant field team leads and roll-out of outputs to inform subsequent customer engagement across the organization. Pharmacists are a key focus as they often serve as the ‘operational’ champion in community accounts for novel therapies like bispecifics.
Support updates and enhancements to existing educational programs focused on operationalizing bispecifics, including J&J’s RRMM bispecific operational speaker bureau and strategic deployment of operational third-party programs
Qualifications:
Requirements:
A minimum Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA or advanced degree in related field is helpful.
A minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience, including pharmaceutical and healthcare knowledge
A minimum 5 years' experience in Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Pricing and/or related fields and/or experience in a qualified leadership development program
Proven proficiencies in marketing, project management, and clear communication.
Ability to travel up to 20%, which may include overnight and weekend travel.
Preferred:
Experience in oncology and / or experience with new treatment modalities / products whose dosing & administration profile may require transitions of care or development of SOPs / protocols and other processes to enable administration
Experience with product launch
