Key Responsibilities
- Support payroll operations and governance activities across multiple payroll processes.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end knowledge of payroll processes, including payroll administration, terminations, payroll taxes, controls, payments, compliance, and post-payroll activities.
- Assess impacts of process, legislative, system, and policy changes on payroll operations.
- Support business continuity activities and operational readiness initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with payroll policies, controls, and applicable legislation.
- Analyze payroll processes and identify operational inefficiencies, process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Proactively identify, escalate, and support the resolution of process failures and operational issues.
- Monitor key deliverables and deadlines, anticipating risks and helping implement mitigation actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Resolve medium-complexity operational issues with limited supervision.
- Participate in process improvement, standardization, automation, and digitalization initiatives.
- Support the adoption of technology solutions, including automation and AI tools, to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and operational metrics to support performance monitoring and decision making.
- Analyze operational data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support business reviews and leadership presentations through data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Finance, Employee Relations, Capability Centers, and external vendors to deliver payroll solutions and improvements.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with local and regional stakeholders.
- Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- Experience in Payroll Operations, HR Operations, Shared Services, or related functions.
- Solid knowledge of Brazilian payroll legislation, payroll processing, compliance requirements, and controls.
- Good understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and related functions.
- Experience analyzing processes and identifying opportunities for operational improvements.
- Ability to identify risks, prioritize issues, and support implementation of corrective actions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently on routine and moderately complex activities.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.
- Advanced English (written and verbal).
- Intermediate Spanish.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience participating in process improvement, automation, or digital transformation projects.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools and digital technologies to improve operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of Power Automate, Power Platform, Copilot, or similar solutions.
- Experience in multinational organizations, Global Business Services, Capability Centers, or Shared Service environments.
- Knowledge of Workday, ADP, SAP, or other payroll and HR systems.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
