J&J Med Tech, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst WW FP&A to support the DePuy Synthes Orthopedics business. The preferred locations are West Chester, PA; Raritan, NJ; and Raynham, MA.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to provide financial insights that will help drive business objectives and keep management informed regarding any changes impacting financial results. The individual will partner cross-functionally and will drive accountability across the budgets in scope.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in strategic business partnership to develop insightful management presentations for forecast cycles, including Health of Business Reviews, Orthopaedics Leadership Team meetings, and Management Leadership Team meetings (MLT), among others.
- Responsible for leading and providing guidance for planning cycle updates, latest thinking reviews, headcount, profit log, as well as other period close activities.
- Build robust files to help facilitate Target setting to the various platforms and responsibilities within Orthopaedics.
- Serve as liaison between business unit partners and cross functional teams such as supply chain, R&D, distribution, Admin.
- Build comprehensive calendar and deliverables for forecast and close cycles including communication and coordination across all facets of Finance.
- The candidate must demonstrate strong financial leadership by providing recommendations for improving processes and presenting results to upper management in a concise way. Doing this will require a deep understanding of the P&L at a platform/BU level to be able to explain results at a consolidated Orthopedics level.
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure all Bravo submissions are timely and accurate for forecast cycles
- Active leadership in building FP&A organization and culture, including roadmap for moving broader DS Finance forward on the SigniFi journey.
- To be successful in this role the candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to work cross-functionally, be self-driven and eager to learn the business and build relationships, as well as being detail oriented.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; a major in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- A CPA, MBA or CMA is preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years finance or related business experience is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
- Familiarity with TM1, Tableau, Power BI, AFO, and SAP (ledger) a plus
- Advanced Excel and Presentation skills required.
- Have a collaborative style and be able to work effectively in a matrix organization across functional groups is required.
- The ability to work independently and effectively interface with various levels of management is also required.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail is required.
- The preferred locations are West Chester, PA; Raritan, NJ; and Raynham, MA. This role may require up to 10% travel.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
