J&J Innovative Medicine – Key Account Manager

Location – Field based across Serbia – National role focused around Belgrade

Purpose of the role

Accountable for planning and delivering the agreed business plan objectives and targets to specific, major accounts by encouraging relationships, identifying needs and opportunities, efficient account, and brands management, and in close co-operation with CE HUBs and cross-functional and cross departmental professionals. Responsible for promotional activities of the dedicated brands to achieve the business objectives.

What to expect:

  • Responsible for achieving sales targets and assigned account objectives
  • Identify key decision makers and influencers in the assigned accounts and develop effective network. Identify and anticipate future customer need and deliver solutions through mobilizing right internal resources and collaborators
  • Implements and coordinates promotional activities (advertising campaigns, multichannel promotional activities, DMs, events, etc.) for dedicated brands aligned to strategy with sales management and other functions (HEMAR and MAF professionals) to ensure fulfillment of accounts needs (lead cross-functional team)
  • Keeps close connection with key customers from the accounts, builds long-term network relationship and partnership for account development and improved competitive market share with a minimum of 70% on the field
  • Build key account management, marketing, and product knowledge in close co-operation with Commercial Lead, Medical Affairs Department and HUBs
  • Develop, implement, monitor and follow-up account plans in close cooperation with relevant internal stakeholders (Commercial, Medical, HEMAR)
  • Has responsibility for implementation of multichannel and digital brand strategy as defined by HUBs and CEE Multichannel
  • Tracks and analyses existing monthly sales data (IMS, NTS, Wholesaler data, etc.), and provides insights to the upper management
  • Ensures the analysis of market data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Rational stockpiling considering market trends, accurate forecasting (production, supply, and sales) in close co-operation with Commercial Lead
  • Monitors and controls continuously promotional budget and ensure expenses shows maximum 5% difference between planned and YE fact
  • Continuously reviews competitor activities in each account and ensures appropriate response strategies with involvement of relevant internal partners and effective communication
  • Advises new product launches and execution as appropriate

Who are we looking for?

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • A medical background, to promote medicine in Serbia you must be either a Doctor, Dentist or trained Pharmacist by formal education.
  • Strong proven previous experience promoting specialist medicine, Oncology products preferred but other therapy area experience would be considered.
  • Have worked in similar large scale and collaborative environments, for other innovative medicine companies.
  • Have proficient English language skills and be capable of driving nationally to visit customers.
