The Finance Manager is responsible for Controllership services for Corporate GOC supporting the departments of 1 Sr. Director and 1 VP. The role is highly visible as the Finance Manager is the lead authority on the actuals, is passionate about business understanding and cross-process coordination of the (US GAAP) BRAVO financial results for External Reporting and drives balanced collaboration across the three-tier model. The Finance Manager provides trusted business partners, across all levels, with the crucial Controllership Services that enable transformations, sustain E2E accounting oversight, and influence financial decisions. Through special projects, such as SigniFi, this role is at the forefront of influencing next-generation technology, providing support to cross-functional stakeholders to ensure solutions that address Financial Reporting compliance and business needs.

Role & Responsibilities: -

  • This position will lead the Financial Accounting & Reporting responsibilities in support of the Country Finance Manager (CFM) core responsibilities in working across all tiers of the organization in ensuring financial statements are accurate.
  • The individual will work closely with World Headquarters and the Corporate GOC finance leadership in the coordination and reporting of actual results for the business and serve as the ‘face of Global Services” to our business partners.
  • Key reporting responsibilities include ownership of the Trial Balance, coordination and execution of Income Statement and Balance Sheet Reviews, BS-75 reporting, and all other related control requirements along with leading / coordinating migration activities into GS and other projects.
  • Approve Actuals submissions in BRAVO, comply with various SOX controls processes (e.g., BVA-02, BS-75 Questionnaire, FR-02, FR-04), and partner with PwC, GAA, and Compliance to satisfy audit requests and strengthen compliance
  • The CFM will also play a leadership role in GS Strategic Initiatives and other Continuous Improvement efforts.


Qualifications

  • Fluent in English
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably a major in Accounting or Finance or another related field is required.
  • An advanced degrees or certifications such as MBA, CPA or CMA etc. is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of finance or related business experience is required.
  • Prior managerial / supervisory experience is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Lynx, CFIN, AFO and Bravo are preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, influence decision making, think creatively, challenge the status quo, and work across multiple teams, including strong stakeholder management in a multicultural environment
  • Individual must work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with all levels of the organization and be able to recommend and implement process improvements is required.
  • Ability to take on leadership roles in various initiatives and effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously is required.
  • This position is based in Bogota, Colombia and may require up to 10% travel.
