We are searching for the best talent for Associate MSL Manager based in Seoul.
Purpose
This role serves as a critical bridge between external stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams, contributing to evidence-based clinical, medical, and business decision-making.
You will be responsible for:
External Customer Engagement & Partnering
- Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key KOLs at country level
- Deliver high-quality scientific exchange and communication of medical information
- Support advancement of innovative surgical approaches through scientific engagement
- Generate actionable insights on treatment strategies, unmet needs, and market dynamics
- Build and maintain a strong scientific network
Scientific Communication
- Provide accurate and timely scientific information from diverse sources to internal/external stakeholders
- Respond to scientific inquiries related to approved products and pipeline assets
- Deliver medical and product training to Sales in collaboration with Marketing
- Effectively communicate medical insights to inform brand and surgical strategy
Medical Affairs Activities & Education
- Support development and execution of surgical training programs and educational events
- Contribute to congresses, symposiums, and regional/national activities
- Ensure all Medical Affairs programs are executed in full compliance
- Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., ProfEd, Marketing, Sales teams)
Strategic Evidence Generation
- Identify evidence gaps and future data needs aligned with Surgery strategy
- Contribute to planning and execution of evidence generation activities (studies, publications)
- Support end-to-end research processes from concept to publication
- Leverage scientific expertise to strengthen business and clinical impact
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in Medical Science, Pharmacology, or related field
- PhD preferred
- Minimum 7 years of MSL experience preferred
- Strong understanding of Surgery therapeutic area and external healthcare environment (competitors, regulations, reimbursement)
- Excellent scientific communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate insights into strategy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Fluent in English and Korean (written and verbal)
- Willingness to travel (domestic and international)
