POSITION SUMMARY:
Lead the team to formulate and implement medical strategy in related disease area.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES may include but no limited to:
Direct management of Medical Advisors, Medical Science Liaison Leaders and indirect management of their subordinates, including but not limited to oversight and accountability for overall medical strategy, IEGP & execution, educational program design and execution, key medical data generation, communication, and KOL engagement etc.
Identify and develop top talents and be responsible for the team development and organizational expansion.
Responsible for managing reasonable turn-over rate within team and sustaining aspiration and motivation under healthy team cultures.
Build a network of professional and business-related interactions with both external and internal stakeholders, including KOLs, academic societies, industrial organizations, R&D stakeholders, XJP CVT partners to ensure solid medical strategy execution in evidence generation, medical education, scientific communication, and other necessitated supports align with XJP portfolio objectives and priorities.
As China MAF interface personnel to communicate and collaborate with R&D organization, Asia Pac and global MAF team and other functions stakeholders.
Lead team to deliver MAF KPIs, and ensure Quality & Compliance
Build XJP’s reputation via implementation of high-quality MA/MSL/ME programs.
Interpretation of clinical safety and efficacy data with internal marketing and R&D colleagues, regulatory agencies and KOLs.
Define and validate the medical and scientific information provided to the stakeholders with the aim to maximize the scientific and commercial impact.
Review and provide medical inputs to license deals, safety issues, business plans and compound strategies etc.
Ensure compliance with Johnson & Johnson, FDA healthcare guidelines and China local regulations.
Manage budget plan of MA, MSL, and ME teams.
Manage and monitor medical projects’ timeline to deliver results on time.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Scientific degree: Medicine, Science, Pharmacology, etc.
Medical Affairs working experience: 8+ years
Team leader experience managing five staffs above: 5+ years
