We are searching for the best talent for Distribution Operator II
An in-process subject matter expert with demonstrated higher order skillset to support operations within one or more Distribution areas (i.e., Credits, PPS, Mailroom, Warehouse, etc.). Uses specialized knowledge to provide analytical, troubleshooting, issue resolution while maintaining a role within their specific operational area. Responsible for ensuring efficient processing pursuant to area deliverable on a daily basis.
Adheres to Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures and supports department objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs one or more of these functions on a regular basis:
- Ensures customer order is picked, prepared, and packaged for shipment with records maintenance.
- Transports, receives, and stocks all raw material and finished products.
- Performs various troubleshooting responsibilities for pick, pack and high speed order processing operations.
- Uses both manual and powered industrial equipment to move palletized finished goods (warehouse only).
- Processes and inspects packages returned from customers for credit and restock.
- Ships international orders and traces domestic and international orders.
- Spends time performing tasks and projects as assigned by area management
- Responsible for tasks or functions and their outcomes, as an area owner of one or more key roles.
- Acts as subject matter expert in one or more specific areas within Distribution.
- Coordinate communication with key stakeholders to ensure changes and modifications are documented and understood.
- Partners with maintenance and engineering to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner.
Education:
- High School Education or equivalent
Experience and Skills:
- 2-4 years experience product distribution and/or manufacturing.
- Some mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, conveyor control, PLC and equipment read-out experience helpful.
Preferred:
- Advanced computer skills and experience with Distribution and Enterprise systems, such as DCS, SI System Control Panel, SAP, or other internal Distribution shop floor systems.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to details.
