We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Site Facilities Manager to be located at Raynham, MA.

The DePuy Ortho Site Facilities manager will sit on the site leadership team and partner with all members, the General Manager and the FM organization to ensure our Global Facilities Management strategy is implemented effectively, maintenance and soft services are performed to the required standards. The candidate for this role will support the Raynham site while being part of the broader Sub regional (Ortho) Facilities team. As such will maintain an active link between the E&PS center of excellence and the site.

This role ensures the consistent Safe & GXP compliant delivery of all facility related functions, including facility maintenance operations, infrastructure management, workplace experience, space management, efficient delivery of site services, maintenance and utilities operations, project delivery and energy management by applying an effective balance of internal employees and service providers.

The role sits on the Site Leadership Team (SLT) at DePuy Raynham, having responsibility for the facilities function, while contributing to the successful leadership of the site. As a peer on the Facilities Management DePuy Team, the role will work closely with their peers in the sub region to align the site with and achieve the sub regional team goals.

The incumbent needs the technical ability to deliver on this role, combined with leadership ability to work effectively with many peers and stakeholders. The successful candidate will also lead the FM organization to become a high performing team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety and compliance is at the forefront of everything we do within the Facilities Management organization

  • Mentor / lead a team of contract resources including engineers, planners, specialists, technicians to act as a cohesive team responsible for ensuring the 24/7 continuous operational readiness of our sites.

  • Lead an efficient Utilities/Asset/site Facilities Maintenance Program to sustain targeted facilities equipment availability.

  • Responsible for implementing business continuity plans, GXP initiatives, energy/sustainability initiatives, and infrastructure management programs to support strategic facilities planning in support of Engineering and Property Services (E&PS) objectives and Site Leadership imperatives.

  • Develop/ Maintain relevant Critical Key Performance Indicators for Facilities and report progress and plans to the site and global leadership teams.

  • Assure accurate documentation of records for facilities department activities.

  • Ensure high standards of safety and environmental processes and systems in relation to work preparation, execution and control for internal and external teams.

  • Establish budget and accurate spending projections, lead within capital and operating resources and have ability to identify significant OPEX and capital spend requirements and savings opportunities during Budget preparation.

  • Leads the site Facilities Management function, building strong productive working relationships so that it operates as a strong cohesive team.

  • Manage contractors on site, thru robust collaboration, communication and governance for areas including service delivery, repairs & maintenance and agreements for the facility and grounds.

  • Serves as the Facilities functional leader on the SLT and is an essential component to the successful running of the whole site.

  • Build strong business relationships with key stakeholders across the site functions, ensuring that the site Facilities Management goals are met while fully supporting the site and Business unit goals.

  • Build strong working relationships with peers in the sub region, ensuring that the site Facilities goals are aligned with the sub regional team goals.

  • Can effectively navigate, lead and partner in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

  • MSC or BSC (or equivalent) in Engineering, Facility management or a related discipline.

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience at Site Leadership Level in Facilities / Engineering role.

  • A comprehensive understanding and experience of facilities maintenance, with the technical ability to operate as an Engineering Manager.

  • Strong passion for people leadership and development, with the demonstrated ability to collaborate with, influence and partner with colleagues throughout the Manufacturing Operation as a Strategic Business Partner.

  • Manufacturing environment

  • Experience leading teams through change and dealing with organizational transformation

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
