Role Purpose and key responsibilities:

The purpose of the role is to strengthen user access security and compliance across global SAP S4 HANA & ECC systems, while driving strategic User Access Management initiatives to support organizational growth and technological for business adaptation purposes.

J&J Innovative Medicine UAM team plays a crucial role in ensuring security requirements are designed and implemented compliantly within this program.

  • Provide support for SAP security applications, focusing on user access, roles, and authorizations management.
  • Investigate and assist SAP security incidents, queries, technical issues, and user access problems.
  • Provide ongoing support in maintaining a secure and compliant SAP environment.
  • Provide support for role change management process in both S/4 HANA & ECC.
  • Provide support to the business for User Access Management related queries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address security-related concerns and requirements.
  • Work closely with business owners, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure security alignment with business objectives.
  • Stay updated on SAP security standard processes and new technologies.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience with SAP security administration & user access control.
  • Knowledge and understanding of GxP & SOX compliance frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP authorization concepts, SoD (Segregation of Duties), mitigation and remediation strategies.
  • Familiarity with User Access Provisioning process and SAP GRC Access Control
  • Experience in change management process with strong coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with collaboration platforms & tools (e.g., Confluence/Jira, MS Teams).
  • Proficiency in English, with outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent teammate and customer service orientated outlook
  • Attention to detail with strong documentation and policy development skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual/remote environment and manage cross-cultural teams.
  • Flexible to work in rotational shifts supporting CET & EST time zones.

Preferred:

  • Understanding of business functions and how systems and applications are used by business partners.
  • Prior experience in SAP Application Management Services.
  • Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with team members of varying technical expertise, competence in clear, concise, and tactful communication with management, peers, and team members.

  • Hybrid working policy.
  • May require up to 5% domestic and/or international travel or as per Business need.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual/remote environment and manage cross-cultural teams.
