We are looking for the best talent for the Learning Capability Specialist, to be based in either Mexico City, Mexico - Bogota, Colombia, or Sao Paulo, Brasil.

Purpose: Drive the design and implementation of differentiated solutions that elevate L&D impact across the organization. Responsible for identifying opportunities where innovative approaches, methodologies, and tools can strengthen learning outcomes beyond standard practice. Leads L&D capability building initiatives to develop the skills, knowledge, and strategic mindset of the broader L&D team across the region.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, design, and pilot innovative learning solutions that address capability gaps not covered by standard programs (e.g., AI-enabled learning, advanced assessment models, new engagement formats)
  • Evaluate emerging trends, methodologies, and technologies in L&D and recommend adoption where they can elevate impact
  • Partner with Learning Strategy Managers (Field & Value Teams) to translate strategic priorities into differentiated approaches that go beyond traditional content delivery
  • Design scalable frameworks, tools, and methodologies that can be adopted across areas and countries
  • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives, measuring results and building business cases for scale
  • Own the L&D capability building agenda: Design and deliver Governance for L&D Model and learning experiences for L&D teams to strengthen strategic, technical, and operational capabilities (e.g., instructional design, data literacy, stakeholder management, facilitation excellence)
  • Collaborate across all L&D areas (Field, Value, Scientific, Platforms, PMO) to identify common capability needs and design solutions that serve multiple stakeholders
  • Support governance evolution by contributing frameworks, standards, and process improvements that strengthen L&D operating model maturity
  • Bring outside-in perspective by benchmarking against industry best practices and translating them into actionable improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree completed
  • Experience in Learning & Development, organizational development, or capability building roles, preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare environments
  • Track record designing and implementing innovative learning solutions beyond traditional training programs
  • Familiarity with emerging learning technologies (AI, adaptive learning, simulation, digital assessment)
  • Experience running pilots, proof-of-concepts, and scaling successful initiatives
  • Comfortable working across functions and geographies in a matrixed environment
  • Agile Methodologies Certification is a Plus.
  • Advanced English level
