We are seeking a highly motivated Experienced Engineer to support our Utilities and Production units as part of the Engineering department for our Tel Hashomer site.


This is a one-year fixed-term position supporting key business initiatives. While the role is time-bound, it offers strong exposure and meaningful responsibility, with the potential for longer-term opportunities depending on business needs.

This role:

  • Applies extensive and diversified knowledge of engineering and validation principles and practices in a broad range of assignments and related fields.
  • Performs complex engineering work involving the design, development, manufacturing, and operation of systems, structures, and equipment.
  • The role requires advanced application of engineering principles, independent judgment, and contribution to technological innovation and process improvement
  • Reviews and analyzes complex task statements, standards, specifications, engineering drawings and other documentation to determine engineering and validation requirements
  • Provide complex technical support for project planning, development, implementation, and modifications
  • Contribute to the development of engineering standards while balancing corporate and customer needs
  • Conduct research on new technologies and evaluate their applicability to the organization
  • Execute complex engineering assignments requiring advanced application of methods, techniques, and criteria
  • Exercise independent judgment in selecting and adapting engineering solutions
  • Manage tasks involving multiple variables and complex objectives
  • Perform work related to design, testing, process studies, and research investigations
  • Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and reports
  • Support equipment design and development, including material testing and process evaluation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Communicate business-related issues and opportunities to management
  • Support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, efficiency, quality, and cost
  • Maintain safe, reliable, and effective manufacturing systems
  • Conceives and plans investigations of broad areas of considerable novelty and importance for which engineering and/or validation precedents are lacking in areas critical to the overall engineering and validation program
  • Act in compliance with Israel labor law regulation, J&J values, and code of conduct
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

  • Engineering University/bachelor’s degree or Equivalent (or equivalent)
  • 2-6 Experience in a regulated pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment - a must
  • Experience in project management and project management methodologies– advantage
  • Knowledge of GMPs related to validations for biologics is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in implementation of equipment and/or utilities system in GMP environment.
  • Proficiency in English (reading and writing)
