Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson MedTech Supply Chain Digital is recruiting for a Senior Director, Supply Chain Solutions Enablement. This executive will lead the Solutions Enablement organization within the Supply Chain Business Transformations organization.

Role Purpose

Lead the enterprise Solutions Enablement capability that deploys and supports end-to-end supply chain solutions across multiple deployments, platforms, and value streams.

Translate enterprise solution standards into executable business deployment outcomes through detailed design, blueprint engagement, test script development and execution, procedure and training material support, and functional data leadership.

Scale a wide, flat, deployment-aligned organization through internal talent, duration roles, and short-to-mid term contractor capacity while maintaining standards, consistency, and cost efficiency.

Serve as the senior point of accountability for Solutions Enablement ways of working, ensuring each enablement squad is aligned to deployment needs, business learning objectives, and run-state handoff expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Solutions Enablement operating leadership

  • Set vision, operating rhythm, governance, and prioritization for the global Solutions Enablement organization.
  • Operate across Supply and Deliver value stream groupings, including E2E Plan, Source to Stock, Logistics, Order to Invoice, and Record to Report.
  • Assign value stream teams across multiple deployment squads and initiatives, balancing business priorities, deployment timelines, capability depth, and resource constraints.

Deployment execution and solution readiness

  • Own detailed design completion for template objects and ensure blueprint engagement, review, and approvals are completed with quality and traceability.
  • Lead enablement support for test script development, test execution, business simulation, and deployment readiness activities.
  • Ensure enablement squads engage effectively with technical and business teams through build, test, release, deployment, hypercare, and transition to run-state.

Business learning, adoption, and functional data

  • Accelerate business learning by assigning specialists to one or more deployment squads.
  • Support procedure and training material development in partnership with Business Adoption, VSLs, SMEs, deployment teams, and functional partners.
  • Lead functional data work in deployments, using MTSC Digital global team standards and templates while embedding Data & Analytics across value streams.

Cross-functional integration and stakeholder alignment

  • Partner with Solutions Architecture to ensure designed standards are deployable, scalable, and business-ready across SAP, APS, ERP, WMS, and adjacent platforms.
  • Maintain strong alignment with Business Process Owners, Business Leads, VSL / SME community, PMO, Test Strategy, Methodology COE, Office of Acceleration, and Data & Analytics.
  • Drive decision-making, issue and trade-off resolution across solution build, configuration, testing, release, and deployment activities.

Talent, capability, and continuous improvement

  • Build a capability model that enables sustainable delivery across multiple concurrent deployments and supports future run-state initiatives.
  • Develop talent pathways across Solutions Architecture, Solutions Enablement, deployment teams and business partners.
  • Embed continuous improvement and standardization behaviors across enablement squads, including lessons learned, reusable templates, quality standards, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, Operations, or a related field is preferred. Advanced degree such as MBA is preferred.
  • Fifteen (15)+ years of progressive business, supply chain, digital transformation, technology-enabled process transformation, or enterprise program leadership experience is required.
  • Demonstrated senior leadership experience building, scaling, and leading large matrixed teams across business, technology, vendors, and external partners is required.
  • Experience leading large-scale ERP, WMS, APS, supply chain planning, logistics, order management, manufacturing, quality, finance integration, or related digital deployments in healthcare industry and regulated environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes across Design, Plan, Source, Make, Logistics, Deliver, Finance, and Data is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, build consensus, resolve ambiguity, and drive decisions across a complex global matrix is required.
  • Experience with deployment readiness, solution confirmation, blueprinting, testing, training, hypercare, and transition-to-run models is preferred.
  • Strong business acumen, executive communication, strategic framing, resource planning, and financial stewardship capabilities are required.
  • Demonstrated experience developing talent, building reusable operating standards, and driving continuous improvement across global teams is required.
