Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Manager, Joints Strategic Insights to join our Orthopaedics team located in West Chester, PA, Raynham, MA, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, or Warsaw, IN.


Purpose:

This role leads the development and execution of data and analytics capabilities to support Joint Reconstruction business performance, commercial execution, and sustainable growth. The Senior Manager, Joints Strategic Insights role partners closely with commercial, business, technology, and functional leaders to enable scalable, standardized, and insight-driven processes across the Joint Reconstruction business. This position is responsible for building and advancing data strategies, governance, reporting, and advanced analytics capabilities while developing and fostering a culture of data-driven decision making.


Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the design and execution of data and analytics strategies to support Joint Reconstruction business performance, commercial execution, operational excellence, and sustainable growth
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage data, analytics, and insights to drive business outcomes and strategic priorities
  • Establish and standardize data models, reporting frameworks, and dashboards to enable consistent, scalable, and transparent performance management
  • Drive the development and adoption of advanced analytics capabilities, including predictive and prescriptive analytics, to enhance decision-making
  • Oversee data governance practices, including data quality, definitions, and stewardship, to ensure integrity and consistency across systems and processes
  • Enable integration and alignment of data across commercial functions, systems, and geographies to support a cohesive view of Joint Reconstruction performance, customer opportunities, and growth priorities
  • Lead initiatives to modernize data architecture, tools, and platforms, improving accessibility, automation, and usability of data assets
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and executive-level communications to inform strategic decisions
  • Integrate Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals, decisions, and ways of working.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Analytics (preferred).
  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, or related finance roles.
  • Strong financial modeling, variance analysis, and business performance reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to translate complex financial and data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Experience partnering cross‑functionally to support business strategy and operational decisions.
  • High standards for data integrity, controls, confidentiality, and compliance.

Preferred:

  • Experience strengthening or standardizing data, analytics, dashboards, or reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting capital planning and post‑investment analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency with financial systems and analytics tools.
  • Experience in a global, matrixed, or highly regulated environment.
  • Travel: Up to 10% domestic travel.
  • Certifications: CPA, CMA, or similar certification.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).


Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
