This role leads the commercial sales strategy and trade relations execution for the Spine, Power Tools (PT), and CMF businesses in Chile. The Sales Manager is accountable for driving sustainable growth through strong field execution, pricing and trade strategy leadership, and close collaboration with marketing, finance, and supply chain partners. This is a high‑impact role with direct influence on revenue growth, customer partnerships, and portfolio expansion in a highly competitive MedTech market.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute the commercial sales strategy for the Spine, PT, and CMF portfolios across assigned territories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market dynamics.
Develop and implement pricing, trade relations, and customer segmentation strategies to strengthen competitive positioning and profitability.
Manage, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve revenue targets, high performance standards, and strong customer engagement.
Partner with marketing to support product launches, promotional initiatives, and value proposition messaging tailored to customer needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders, including negotiating commercial agreements where applicable.
Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and sales performance metrics to inform decision‑making and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and ethical selling standards in all commercial activities.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance, supply chain, and sales operations to support accurate forecasting and execution excellence.
Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred: MBA or postgraduate degree in Business or Commercial Management.
Experience and Skills
Required:
6-8 years of progressive commercial or sales experience, including leadership responsibility, ideally within MedTech, medical devices, or healthcare.
Proven experience leading sales teams and delivering against revenue and growth targets.
Strong understanding of pricing, trade relations, and commercial strategy execution.
Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable commercial plans.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated commitment to compliance, ethics, and patient‑centric business practices.
Preferred:
Experience within Spine, CMF, Orthopedics, or surgical portfolios.
Experience working with distributors and complex hospital systems in Latin America.
Strong financial acumen, including forecasting and P&L understanding.
Change leadership experience in matrixed or evolving organizations.
Other:
Language: Fluent Spanish required; English proficiency preferred.
Travel: Up to 40–50% domestic travel; occasional international travel may be required.
Certifications: Relevant commercial or leadership certifications preferred.
Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required for customer‑facing responsibilities.
