Job Overview
The CQ Supervisor, NC is responsible for supervising execution of Commercial Quality activities related to nonconformance (NC) management and compliance within the local market. This role ensures consistent adherence to quality system requirements, regulatory expectations, and internal policies while supporting effective investigation, documentation, and resolution of quality issues. The position plays an important operational leadership role by guiding day‑to‑day quality execution, supporting audit readiness, and strengthening compliance across commercial and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise execution of Commercial Quality activities related to nonconformance management and compliance.
Ensure timely identification, documentation, investigation, and closure of quality nonconformances.
Monitor quality performance, trends, and risks; support corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure consistent application of global and local quality procedures, work instructions, and controls.
Support internal audits, external audits, and health authority inspections related to Commercial Quality processes.
Partner with Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to support compliant product distribution and lifecycle activities.
Provide day‑to‑day guidance and oversight to team members supporting Commercial Quality execution.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance, consistency, and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Life Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, or a related discipline (required).
Advanced degree in a scientific or quality‑related field (preferred).
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Typically 4-6 years of experience in Quality, Compliance, Regulatory, or related roles within a regulated industry.
Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and regulatory requirements impacting commercial operations.
Experience supporting audits, inspections, or compliance assessments.
Ability to supervise operational quality activities and support consistent execution.
Preferred:
Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
Familiarity with Latin America regulatory and compliance expectations.
Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization.
Prior experience providing informal leadership or supervisory support.
Quality or Regulatory certifications (e.g., ASQ, RAC).
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills.
Effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Other:
Language: Spanish required; English proficiency preferred.
Travel: Limited; occasional domestic travel within Mexico.
Certifications: Quality or Regulatory certifications preferred but not required.
