The Vice President, Global Procurement Service Delivery is a senior global leadership role accountable for the execution, performance, and continuous optimization of Johnson & Johnson’s Procurement Services delivery model.
The role leads end-to-end global service delivery across Source-to-Contract, Payments, Vendor Master Data, and Experience, ensuring scalable, compliant, and high-performing operations across a globally distributed organization of 450+ Johnson & Johnson employees in addition to strategic business process outsourcing (BPO) partners.
This leader is responsible for delivering measurable business value, productivity, and customer experience outcomes, while advancing AI‑enabled transformation, ensuring the successful adoption, scaling, and value realization of digital, automation, and data-driven solutions.
The VP is a key architect of a best-in-class Procurement Services operating model and partners closely with the Digital and Process Solutions Procurement organization to operationalize and optimize global processes, while providing operational insights and user feedback to inform ongoing process improvement. The role also ensures the implementation of regional and local service delivery processes required to meet regulatory, compliance, and market-specific needs, aligned to enterprise standards.
This position serves as a critical connector across Procurement, Finance, Technology, and Business teams to deliver integrated, efficient, and high-quality services at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Global Service Delivery & Operational Excellence (30%)
- Own global service delivery performance across Source-to-Contract, Payments, Vendor Master Data, and Experience
- Ensure achievement of service level commitments, customer satisfaction targets, productivity goals, and compliance with SOX, financial, and procurement controls
- Embed continuous improvement through process simplification, automation, analytics, and service insights
- Accountable for adoption, scaling, and value realization of digital, AI, and automation solutions across service delivery
- Govern a hybrid delivery model across internal teams and strategic BPO partners to ensure performance, compliance, and scalability
- Define and implement required regional and local service delivery processes to meet regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements while aligning to global standards
Operating Model Execution & Transformation (20%)
- Execute and continuously optimize the global Procurement Services operating model in partnership with Digital and Process Solutions Procurement
- Provide operational insights, service performance data, and user feedback to inform process design and continuous improvement
- Lead large-scale transformation initiatives including AI and automation deployment, platform implementation, and global capability center evolution
- Drive change management across transformation programs , including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and adoption to ensure adoption and sustained outcomes
Enterprise Partnership & Value Creation (15%)
- Serve as a strategic partner to Global Category leaders, Business Units, and enterprise stakeholders
- Translate enterprise and business strategies into executable service delivery models and improved customer experiences
- Drive value realization across savings enablement, productivity, cash flow improvement, and risk mitigation
- Act as a senior service delivery leader interfacing across Finance, HR, Technology, and Commercial functions to ensure aligned and integrated service outcomes
Financial & Performance Accountability (15%)
- Accountable for service cost management, productivity outcomes, and value realization across the service delivery organization
- Ensure sustained compliance with operational SOX, financial, and procurement control standards across an approximately $60M operating budget.
- Lead execution and continuous improvement of the global service management system, including SLAs, KPIs, and governance forums
- Ensure performance metrics are standardized, actionable, and enable transparency and data-driven decision-making across all levels
Talent & Leadership Development (15%)
- Build, develop, and lead a diverse, high-performing global leadership team
- Lead implementation of talent strategies across service delivery, including workforce planning, capability development, and succession pipelines aligned to enterprise frameworks
- Drive consistent performance management practices linking team outcomes to service delivery performance and enterprise value
- Build digital, data, automation, AI and procurement capabilities across the service delivery organization
- Foster an inclusive, engaged, and high-performance global services culture
External Orientation & Benchmarking (5%)
- Represent Procurement Services through industry benchmarking, external forums, and strategic partner engagement
- Continuously assess leading practices to enhance service delivery maturity and performance
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure audit-ready execution of control frameworks across all service delivery processes, aligned to enterprise standards
- Enforce governance practices that ensure quality, risk mitigation, and compliance across global and regional operations
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 15+ years of leadership experience in global services, shared services, procurement operations, or large-scale delivery environments
- Proven experience leading large, geographically distributed teams and managing complex, multi-region delivery models
- Demonstrated success driving transformation through technology, automation, analytics, and large-scale operational adoption of digital solutions
- Experience operating in regulated enterprise environments with accountability for compliance and control outcomes
- Experience partnering with digital, technology, or process excellence organizations to implement global processes at scale
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions and regions
