Key Responsibilities
This role aims to ensure competitive advantage and market access of J&J Ukraine portfolio by developing and executing systematic strategies that integrate health economics, pricing and market access tools across all stages of the product lifecycle.
This critical role will lead in creating strategy and executing Health Economics, Market Access & Pricing strategies across the product lifecycle to ensure market access and adoption of J&Jportfolio
Building and establishing strong relationships with market access and public affairs stakeholders and advocate for companies market access strategies in line with the Company’s policies and plans, to report these to the related persons and units within the Company, to maintain information flow in these areas for the Company purposes, and where necessary, to represent the Company within this framework and contribute to Company relationships and image.
Public affairs and market access stakeholder mapping and management
Establishes strong relationships with market access stakeholders (Ministry of Health, State Expert Center, Patient Associations, Non-Government Organizations and Key Opinion Leaders)
Builds strong relationships, identify and establish partnerships with stakeholders in public affairs projects (development and sustainability through engagement and communication plans)
Advocacy and networking activities with govt officials in relevant Ministries in order to contribute to better access for patients and the company’s growth.
Shape and manage the external environment and the impact of payer/health policy by mapping the decision-making process, identifying the influence tree and influencing both the external and internal stakeholders to deal with them.
Relations with Other Entities and Institutions:
Carries out and monitors business and transactions with all access related units including MoH and SEC
Be the main point of contact to local Payers;
Works cross-functionally to gather feedback from key opinion leaders / payers and understand reimbursement and funding pathways for healthcare technologies.
Healthcare environment and regulatory changes scanning to identify core market access trends, a permanent assessment of the institutional and economic environment and of its impact on J&J in particular in the market access field.
Management of activities aimed at increasing the level of financing of the company's products at the national and federal levels
Lead the market access strategy development ensuring strategic alignment across local and regional teams and prepare value propositions and business cases
Work with authorized vendors for preparation of HTA dossiers
Coordinate submissions to relevant authorities regarding various aspects of product pricing/reimbursement after finalizing internal approval processes.
Communication with related authorities about pricing, reimbursement and access issues
Close monitoring healthcare/health policy environment and market access dynamics to maintain the uninterrupted access conditions
Follow-up & report on developments and changes in the local & global reimbursement and pricing systems and regulations
Requirements & Qualifications
Life Sciences Degree (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or Medicine) and/or Economics, Engineering
10 years+ experience in Ukrainian healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
3+ years of proven Market Access experience.
Good understanding of the healthcare environment, legal and regulatory frameworks that would affect the business
Preferred with experience of interacting, collaborating and building relationships with both external and internal partners
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with strong presentation style. Ability to influence and persuade both internal and external partners
Proven project management skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within a complex and changing environment
Fluent English
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Ability to handle highly confidential information
Learning agility with ability to quickly assimilate and digest information; strong analytical skills
Flexible team member with positive demeanor. Ability to work on his/her own in a matrix environment and deliver on projects with “can do!” attitude
