Role Overview
The Group Product Director, Professional Promotion KOL Engagement will lead U.S. HCP marketing, professional education, and KOL engagement strategy across all CAPLYTA® indications (MDD, Bipolar, and Schizophrenia). This leader will translate brand strategy, customer and field insights, market research, and analytics into coordinated professional promotion, peer-to-peer education, speaker bureau, and congress, TLL and regional initiatives. The role will lead a team of three direct reports and serve as the single point of accountability for professional promotion - KOL engagement, content, and peer-to-peer strategy across the brand. This position reports to the Director of Marketing, CAPLYTA®.

Key Responsibilities
Coach and develop a high-performing team while fostering an inclusive culture and strengthening marketing capabilities through ongoing feedback, development planning, and talent management.
Shape and execute U.S. HCP marketing strategies and professional education priorities across all CAPLYTA® indications.
Lead and advance Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement strategy to generate customer insights, develop new and emerging advocates, and support professional education priorities.
Own end-to-end peer-to-peer strategy, speaker bureau management, and program optimization across all CAPLYTA® indications.
Continuously advance core marketing fundamentals, including insight generation, co-positioning, message and creative development, and impact measurement.
Champion data-driven decision-making and proactively adjust strategy using market insights, analytics, customer feedback, and field insights.
Create and curate content deployed through TLL field interactions, congress activations, speaker programs, and digital channels.
Lead congress strategy, including booth presence, product theaters, roadshows, executive KOL engagements, and advisory boards focused on insight generation.
Partner closely with field teams to ensure seamless execution, TLL readiness, pull-through, and feedback loops that improve customer engagement and business impact.
Build strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, Health Care Compliance, and Global Commercial teams to ensure strategic alignment and compliant execution.
Manage the agency-of-record relationship and other agency and vendor partners to deliver high-quality HCP tactics on strategy, on time, and within budget.
Optimize resource allocation and investment decisions to maximize performance and return on investment.
Champion responsible and compliant adoption of AI-enabled tools to accelerate insights, improve efficiency, enhance content development workflows, and support strategic decision-making.
Support the Director of Marketing with business review meetings by preparing strategic updates, synthesizing performance insights, and ensuring clear follow-up on key leadership decisions.
Qualifications / Requirements
Education
BA/BS required; MBA preferred
Required
Minimum of 10 years of relevant commercial experience, including marketing and/or sales in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
People management experience, including developing and coaching direct reports
Demonstrated experience leading KOL engagement, peer-to-peer strategy, and/or medical education programs
Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive strategic alignment across matrixed organizations
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Strong decision-making skills and ability to manage complexity across multiple projects and indications
Preferred
Psychiatry, Neuroscience, or CNS therapeutic area experience strongly preferred
Launch experience strongly preferred
Marketing and Sales/Sales Leadership experience preferred
Experience managing large speaker bureaus and congress strategies
Experience partnering with R&D, Medical Affairs, Global Marketing, Market Access, Patient Advocacy, and Supply Chain
Ability to motivate, lead, and influence across levels and functions
Knowledge and understanding of TLL/MSL field models and regional marketing execution
Experience building team AI literacy and confidence, reinforcing trusted and responsible AI use and sound judgment is preferred.
Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and applying new tools over time is preferred.
This position will be located in Titusville, NJ and may involve up to 30% travel.

$150,000.00 - $258,750.00Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
