Key Responsibilities
• Apply global and local material standards (naming conventions, attribute definitions, units of measure, packaging, planning/MRP parameters, procurement types, compliance and regulatory fields) and flag gaps or exceptions for review
• Perform data quality checks (validation rules, mandatory attributes, duplicate prevention) and participate in periodic audits; document defects, support root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions as assigned
• Support master data workflows and SLAs, including intake, approvals, testing and validation, release, and audit documentation; provide status updates and escalate risks or blockers as needed
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders (Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Commercial, IT) to clarify request requirements and ensure correct data setup
• Support ERP/MDM initiatives (rollouts, migrations, acquisitions/divestitures) through data cleansing, load validation, cutover and hypercare support, and defect triage
• Maintain SOPs and work instructions as assigned; participate in training and knowledge transfer; suggest automation and continuous improvement opportunities
Qualifications / Requirements:
This is a good role for someone who can demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and are comfortable leading through ambiguity, using data to drive sound decisions. You bring a solid governance and controls mindset, with the ability to design, apply, and enforce standards and business rules. Your analytical approach enables you to identify root causes and translate recurring issues into effective preventive actions. You communicate confidently and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders, setting clear expectations, managing escalations, and providing transparent status updates. At the same time, you are able to balance hands‑on execution with coaching and continuous process improvement, even when working under tight deadlines and during critical cutover phases.
Required
• 2–5 years of experience in material master data, supply chain data operations, or ERP/MDM master data roles
• Strong working knowledge of material master domains and downstream impacts (MRP, procurement, inventory valuation, manufacturing execution, batch/lot, serialization where applicable)
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow defined standards and controls, and disciplined documentation practices
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders
Preferred
• Strong ERP/MDM experience (e.g., SAP MM/MDG, S/4HANA, Oracle), including workflows, roles and authorizations, and change control
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., data catalogs, data quality monitoring, workflow tools, ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira)
• Experience supporting major programs (ERP go‑lives, cutovers, migrations, acquisitions), including data conversion and reconciliation
• Experience working in controlled environments (SOX, GMP, FDA/EMA/ISO as applicable) with a strong understanding of audit and traceability requirements
• Analytics and automation skills (advanced Excel, Power BI, SQL, Power Query, or scripting) to monitor data quality and streamline work
