We are searching for the best talent for Engineer, Automation Engineering to be in Beerse.
Purpose:
As an Engineer within the MST (Manufacturing Science & Technology) Automation team, you are responsible for optimizing and automating manufacturing equipment and processes across the OT landscape. You contribute to scalable, reliable, and compliant automation solutions aligned with ISA-95 principles and enterprise architecture standards.
You leverage data from interconnected systems (e.g., PLC/SCADA, MES, and enterprise layers) to monitor performance, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making. In close collaboration with Senior Engineers and cross-functional teams (IT, QA, Engineering), you support the integration of equipment into the OT environment, ensuring proper data flow, system interoperability, and compliance with GxP and data integrity requirements.
You play an active role in automation and digitalization projects, translating manufacturing needs into structured technical requirements and supporting the full lifecycle from design through FAT/SAT and implementation. Additionally, you contribute to the development and maintenance of standardized automation documentation, aligned with validation practices and ISA-95 models, to ensure consistency, scalability, and audit readiness.
You also support knowledge transfer within the team by coaching interns and engineers, fostering best practices in automation engineering, OT integration, and structured documentation.
You will be responsible for:
Data Processing:
Gather and analyze data from various sources.
Structure and visualize data for easy accessibility and usability in analyses.
Stakeholder Advising:
Provide insights based on data analysis to management and stakeholders.
Assist in informed decision-making by highlighting trends, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
Collaboration with Senior Engineer:
Work closely with the Senior Engineer on complex projects.
Provide technical support, conduct tests, and report findings
Project Initiation:
Participate in initiating and planning projects for new machine acquisition and implementation.
Map needs and formulate requirements for the projects.
Qualifications / Requirements:

Master’s scientific degree or engineering
Bachelors electromechanics or Engineering

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€52,000.00 - €82,685.00Benefits:
