Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking 2 epidemiology interns to join our team located in Switzerland.

Position(s) Overview - Tasks & Responsibilities:
Review of literature and other sources (i.e., incidence and prevalence) for a given cancer tumor type (s). Lead the literature review in a step-by-step approach including AI based tools. Contribute to and align epidemiology sections of varied regulatory documents in the drug development process.
Fit-for-use Real-world data (RWD) identification in internal & external sources and networks, feasibility assessment and / or analysis of secondary RW data (e.g. European RWD networks, US health insurance claims, electronic health record, cancer registry data etc.). Across varied therapeutic areas such as oncology, immunology and neuroscience, the project may include:
Definition of phenotypes, cohorts and work with other analysts, and use of in-house standardized tools for analysis of federated RW data.
Continued development of AI based RWD search and repository tools
The intern(s) will work with other epidemiologists & analysts within the department and will be involved in the discussions to help contextualize and interpret the findings. The intern will also have an opportunity to participate in other department events (e.g., educational webinars, team meetings, networking, etc.).
Qualifications - Education and Experience:
Masters or PhD in epidemiology, public health, or a related field.
Qualifications - Skills:
Good experience in review of literature
Experience in the analysis of secondary real-world data
Good understanding of epidemiology study designs and analytical methods
Experience in the use of AI tools
Strong interest in oncology, immunology or neuroscience research
Strong interest in pharmaceutical research
Has good communication, collaboration, and networking skill.
Has good presentation skills; fluent oral and written English
Switzerland working permit valid until February 2027 mandatory
