Role Description:
This role is dedicated to advancing therapy management within the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine lung cancer portfolio. As a field-based specialist, the employee works directly with healthcare professionals, ensuring they are well informed and confident in administering and managing treatment.
The role focuses on providing guidance and support throughout the patient treatment journey, including sharing best practices to support optimal outcomes. Key responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for healthcare professionals in matters related to treatment management, facilitating educational sessions, and contributing to projects and related activities in the area of therapy management.
The purpose of the Therapy Management Specialist is to maximize both short-term and long-term impact within the Czech Republic by coordinating and optimizing cross-functional collaboration among relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance, resources, and support to healthcare professionals (HCPs) in treatment management.
- Respond promptly and flexibly to clinic and HCP needs, including frequent travel and support on short notice.
- Execute and contribute to therapy management–related projects.
- Collaborate compliantly with cross-functional teams to support local strategy and execution.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
- Coordinate activities with territory partners (cross-functional teams) and align on account needs.
- Engage with referral HCPs to support effective patient referral pathways and ensure strong linkage with key oncological centers.
- Assess account needs and involve relevant cross-functional expertise as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM system and ensure effective stakeholder management.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable ethical and legal requirements.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Academic degree in natural science, or a related field (a healthcare-related degree is an advantage).
- Valid driving license (Category B).
- Fluency in Czech or Slovak.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in project and stakeholder management.
- Ability to translate complex information into practical, healthcare-relevant guidance.
- High credibility, integrity, and ability to build trust.
This role requires frequent travel and flexibility to visit and support clinics on short notice as needs arise. Adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to build professional relationships with healthcare providers are essential for success in this role.
