Introduction and Overview
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for an Employee and Labor Relations (ERLR) Manager, France located in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France. As ER/LR Manager for France you will be able to use global platforms and a huge level of expertise from your colleagues in ER/LR do effectively manage employee relations and labor relations in your scope. You will have significant influence over local ER/LR policy and work on both daily operational and strategic projects. In the France & Maghreb cluster we work collaboratively to deliver business solutions that meet the current and future needs of our developing business. Our HR services, Business partners, Talent Acquisition and Employee and Labor Relations team members are collectively integral to progressing J&J business. This role reports into France & Maghreb Cluster Lead, ERLR in Global Services HR organization.
Objectives of the Position
- In ERLR, we facilitate business progression, while ensuring adherence to J&J Credo and policies.
- Collaborate optimally with other pillars of HR ensuring a ONE HR approach to our customers.
- Ensure relevant ERLR policies are maintained in accordance with local Labor Law standards.
- Conduct social agenda and preparation & lead of employee representatives’ meetings (CSE, CSSCT, etc..)
- Conduct Labor Relations Strategy as well as negotiation of every company CBA within scope of responsibility
- Conduct business impact assessment, ad hoc Labor Relations consulting including for major workforce events (M&A, Divestitures, Restructuring, Reduction in Force, …)
- Drive direct interventions with People Leaders and employees on most critical cases and or customer concerns
- Conduct grievance investigations and disciplinary cases.
- Raise awareness of ERLR processes and policies for BUHR and People Leaders.
- Deliver ERLR change and communications work, establish positive relationships with collaborators such as: BUHRs, sectoral Managing Directors, legal and HCC functions.
- Understand Key Performance Indicators and operational metrics that are important for running service delivery in order to achieve Service Level Agreements and meet customer service standards.
- Interpret and translate business metrics into insights.
- Make recommendations on continuous improvement opportunities to enhance provision of services by reviewing and coaching on operational processes, policies, standard operating procedures and work instructions and introduce key improvement plans for execution.
- Participate in EMEA initiatives related to Continuous Improvement.
- Meet metrics and SLAs.
- Demonstrates an understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, including awareness of responsible and ethical AI practices, experience generating effective prompts to boost efficiency and productivity, and awareness of AI’s impact on the workforce.
What you will need to succeed
To be successful in this position you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive, can-do attitude able to influence partners in a multi-layered business environment. You have high degree of independence to provide ERLR related support to key business partners.
You need to have a solid record of HR compliance and/or ERLR experience and a strong legal expertise in France. You have a significant experience of managing complex labor relations.
You are an excellent colleague and have outstanding collaboration skills. You are passionate about results, impact, accountability and building repeatable and balanced processes.
Qualifications
- A degree of Bachelor is required, with preference for Master in employment/labor law, HR or related fields.
- English and French proficiency is required.
- Significant (minimum 7 years) dynamic HR experience. Experience in amongst other areas providing direction to management, managing complex labor relations (Works Councils, Unions, etc..), investigating, and addressing employee misconduct, below job performance standards, organizational changes, grievances.
- Experience in relationship management, coaching and collaboration skills, with other leaders at all levels and key partners.
- Ability to establish a function's representation passionate about speed, accountability and continuous improvement while building standardized processes.
- Experienced in shaping solutions and driving business results, with strong communication and collaborative skills in engaging with internal and external partners.
- Experience using technologies, ticket management, knowledge management, document management, etc.
- Experienced in development and reporting of HR analytics to handle performance and drive data-based decisions for HR and the organization

€60 400,00 - €103 960,00Benefits:
In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
