Purpose:

The Strategic Projects Manager – EP CEE serves as the strategic operational backbone of the Electrophysiology business across Central & Eastern Europe. Reporting directly to the General Manager EP CEE, this role ensures clarity of priorities, executive readiness, and disciplined execution across the full EP CEE portfolio. The incumbent applies deep electrophysiology expertise, strong business acumen, and exceptional organizational discipline to drive performance excellence, strategic account growth, and market leadership across a complex, multi-country region.

You will be responsible for:

Performance Excellence & Business Governance:

  • Serve as a strategic business partner to the General Manager EP CEE, ensuring clarity of priorities, executive readiness, and disciplined execution of key business initiatives.
  • Lead the regional business operating cadence, including: Performance Excellence Reviews, Leadership Team meetings, Strategy reviews and planning sessions, Executive visits
  • Ensure thorough preparation of all leadership forums through the development of high-quality agendas, pre-read materials, business insights and executive-level presentations.
  • Drive a culture of execution excellence through detailed, proactive, and timely follow-up of decisions, commitments, and action plans, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and closure across the organization.
  • Maintain rigorous tracking of strategic priorities, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables, ensuring leadership has complete visibility into business progress and execution challenges.
  • Demonstrate exceptional personal ownership, reliability, and attention to detail, consistently anticipating leadership needs and ensuring commitments are delivered with accuracy and on time.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks that ensure accountability, visibility, and timely execution of regional priorities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Commercial, Clinical, Marketing, Finance, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, and other business functions.
  • Support annual strategic planning, long-range planning, and regional priority-setting processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement of business processes and operational effectiveness across CEE.

Strategic Account Excellence & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Oversee the development and execution of strategic account plans for the region's most important electrophysiology centers.
  • Establish governance, visibility, and tracking mechanisms to ensure consistent execution of strategic account priorities across countries.
  • Partner closely with Sales Managers, Marketing, and Clinical Leadership to maintain a consolidated view of key account objectives, opportunities, risks, and engagement plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between commercial teams and corporate functions, including Medical Affairs, Research & Development, Professional Education, Marketing, Health Economics & Market Access, Global Strategic Marketing, Innovation teams.
  • Support preparation of executive customer engagements, strategic account reviews, innovation discussions, and partnership planning sessions.
  • Monitor progress of strategic account initiatives and ensure appropriate follow-up, stakeholder engagement, and execution discipline.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within Electrophysiology Environment.
  • Strong and demonstrated understanding of EP procedures and clinical workflows, EP technologies (mapping, ablation, diagnostic catheters), Customer engagement models in Medtech / EP
  • Experience in commercial, clinical, marketing, professional education, or strategic business leadership roles within Electrophysiology.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and presentation skills.
  • Minimum education: Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred

  • Experience within J&J EP
  • Experience working with EP centers and key opinion leaders across the CEE region.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

4,217 EUR gross/monthly to 7,226 EUR gross/monthly in Croatia

17,083 PLN gross/monthly to 29,517 PLN gross/monthly in Poland

98,083 CZK gross/monthly to 169,242 CZK gross/monthly in the Czech Republic

1,195,917 HUF gross/monthly to 2,063,388 HUF gross/monthly in Hungary

5,483 EUR gross/monthly to 8,922 EUR gross/monthly in Slovenia

3,858 EUR gross/monthly to 6,593 EUR gross/monthly in Estonia

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
