Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Purpose:
The Joints and MITEK Product Manager is responsible for leading the strategic direction, development, and lifecycle management of the Joints and MITEK product portfolio within the orthopedics division.
This role combines market intelligence, clinical insight, and cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation, growth, and customer satisfaction.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Portfolio Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute product strategies aligned with business goals and market needs.
Define and manage the Joints and MITEK product roadmap, including new product development and lifecycle management.
Market & Customer Insights
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities and unmet needs.
Collaborate with key opinion leaders (KOLs), surgeons, and healthcare professionals to validate product concepts and positioning.
Product Development & Launch
Lead cross-functional teams (Regulatory, Clinical, Sales) through product development phases.
Drive successful product launches, including training, marketing collateral, and go-to-market strategies.
Commercial Support
Support sales teams with product knowledge, positioning, and competitive differentiation.
Monitor product performance and implement strategies to optimize sales and market share.
Compliance & Quality
Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Collaborate with regulatory and clinical teams to support submissions and post-market surveillance.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or Medical Degree (MBA preferred).
Minimum 8 years of experience within the orthopaedics (Joints replacement) industry.
Strong understanding of Orthopaedics procedures and clinical workflows.
Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
Ability to travel as needed for customer visits, conferences, and field support.
