Job Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst, International Finance – APAC plays a key role in supporting regional financial performance, reporting accuracy, and decision‑making across APAC markets. This role partners closely with regional and global finance teams to deliver high‑quality financial analysis, support treasury and cash visibility activities, and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. The position offers meaningful exposure to cross‑border finance operations, senior stakeholders, and strategic initiatives within a leading global MedTech organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver financial analysis, forecasting, and variance explanations to support APAC regional performance management.

  • Support international finance and treasury activities, including regional cash visibility, liquidity analysis, and balance sheet management.

  • Prepare and review management reports, dashboards, and financial presentations for regional and global stakeholders.

  • Analyze complex financial datasets related to intercompany activity, capital transactions, and treasury operations, providing actionable insights.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements across APAC entities.

  • Support internal and external audits, including documentation, issue remediation, and stakeholder coordination.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process efficiencies and standardization opportunities across regional finance activities.

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with country finance teams, regional leadership, and global finance partners while modeling Johnson & Johnson’s Credo values.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).

  • Master’s degree or MBA in Finance or a related discipline (preferred).

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • Typically 4–6 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis roles.

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, balance sheet management, and analytical techniques.

  • Experience preparing forecasts, variance analyses, and management reporting.

  • Ability to analyze large, complex datasets and translate results into clear business insights.

  • Proficiency in Excel and experience working with ERP or financial reporting systems.

  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting international or regional finance operations, preferably within APAC.

  • Exposure to treasury, cash management, or intercompany accounting processes.

  • Prior experience in a multinational, matrixed organization.

  • Familiarity with audit processes, internal controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across cultures and geographies.

Other:

  • Language: Fluency in Korean required; business‑level English required.

  • Travel: Up to 10% regional travel within APAC.

  • Certifications: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent finance certification (preferred).

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
