DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Manager, TPO Customer Orders.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Job Overview
The Manager, TPO Customer Orders plays a key role in enabling efficient, accurate, and compliant third‑party order (TPO) processing through commercial technology solutions. This role partners closely with Commercial Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and IT teams to ensure customer order systems and processes support service excellence, operational efficiency, and business continuity and reports into the DePuy Synthes Technology organization. The role has direct impact on customer experience, order accuracy, and end‑to‑end commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support commercial technology solutions that enable third‑party customer order processing and fulfillment.
Partner with Customer Service, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into system enhancements and process improvements.
Oversee day‑to‑day system performance related to TPO customer orders, ensuring stability, accuracy, and timely issue resolution.
Coordinate testing, deployment, and adoption of system changes impacting customer order workflows.
Ensure order processing solutions comply with internal controls, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Analyze operational data and system performance metrics to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support vendor and partner relationships related to customer order technologies, as needed.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Lead the application of AI, advanced analytics, and automation to modernize commercial platforms, enhancing customer engagement, pricing and revenue optimization, and data‑driven decision‑making while driving scalable and compliant commercial execution across sales, marketing, and customer operations.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Advanced degree preferred.
Experience and Skills
Required:
6–8 years of relevant experience in commercial technology, customer order management, or enterprise systems.
Experience supporting customer order processing, order‑to‑cash, or related commercial workflows.
Strong understanding of cross‑functional commercial operations and system integrations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred:
Experience working with third‑party order processing or distribution models.
Experience with ERP/SAP or commercial order management systems.
Experience supporting process improvement or system implementation initiatives.
Familiarity with regulated or highly controlled environments.
Experience working in a global or matrixed organization.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Other:
Language: English required.
Travel: Up to 10%, primarily domestic.
Certifications: Commercial systems, supply chain, or project management certifications preferred.
