Purpose of the Role
To lead and develop high-performing commercial teams within the Immunology franchise, driving sustainable growth and impact for patients and healthcare systems. This role is responsible for executing the commercial strategy, collaborating cross‑functionally, and managing key government and healthcare stakeholders, while fostering a winning mindset, ensuring full compliance, and motivating teams to deliver results in a fast‑paced and highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop commercial teams (individual contributors and/or supervisors), ensuring effective performance management, continuous feedback, and talent development.
Define and execute the commercial strategy for the Immunology portfolio and pipeline, aligned with business priorities and market needs.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Medical, Marketing, Market Access, Government Affairs, and other key functions to ensure integrated strategy execution.
Lead interactions with government stakeholders and demonstrate strong understanding of healthcare system processes to adapt commercial and access strategies accordingly.
Develop compelling value propositions for Immunology products, translating scientific innovation into customer‑ and patient‑oriented solutions.
Generate insights and critical analysis of product performance, market dynamics, and customer needs to shape effective marketing and selling strategies.
Identify key business drivers to support market development strategies and long‑term growth.
Monitor healthcare trends, new legislation, and relevant external developments in Immunology, advising on necessary adjustments to sales and market strategies.
Ensure strong understanding and execution of brand strategies and aligned objectives across the team.
Manage all operational aspects of the team, including workflow, performance, incentives, and compliance, ensuring goals are achieved within Johnson & Johnson standards.
Actively promote a culture of ethics, accountability, and decision‑making aligned with the Johnson & Johnson Credo and Leadership Imperatives.
Inspire, motivate, and engage the team, fostering agility, resilience, and a solution‑oriented mindset in a high‑performance environment.
Position is eligible for sales incentives / sales commissions.
Requirements
Completed university degree. (Required)
Proven experience leading and developing commercial sales teams. (Required)
Solid experience within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry, with strong understanding of government processes and stakeholder management in Mexico. (Preffered)
Experience in commercial leadership roles such as Sales, Market Access, Commercial Strategy, or related areas.
Strong leadership, teamwork, analytical, and digital channel capabilities.
Demonstrated winning mindset and results‑driven approach in high‑performance teams.
Agile, proactive, and resolutive profile, with strong execution capabilities.
Strong customer focus and relationship‑building skills with healthcare professionals, institutions, and key stakeholders.
Strong commitment to compliance, ethics, and corporate standards.
Intermediate level of English preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Availability for national travel.
