Lab Technician II is responsible in conducting technical quality assurance inspections and using results to

improve production processes and standards. The Technician will report directly to the Laboratory

Lead/Supervisor and will complete general laboratory support as well as routine testing in compliance with

laboratory test methods and procedures to support the Manufacturing and timely delivery of product to

customers a few sentences to provide an overview of the job.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs moderately complex tests and analyses to assure that products comply with established
  • specifications.
  • Performs specialized product/customer quality testing.
  • Independent analysis of routine samples using the applicable test methods
  • Performing daily calibration/verification checks on laboratory instruments
  • Work in team environment in a CREDO based lifestyle
  • Use test equipment (Starrett Gauge, Mitutoyo Gauge, Microscope, Instron, etc.) where applicable.

Qualifications:

Education

  • An Associate degree, High School Diploma or Equivalent is required

Required experience and skills:

  • Ability to use Laboratory Software Applications such as Laboratory Information Management Systems.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, and oral and written communication skills
  • Required to interact well with peers and colleagues with respect
  • Self-motivated
