Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote clinical application support during electrophysiology procedures using the CARTO system.

  • Educate and train physicians, EP lab technologists, and nurses on CARTO workflows, features, and best practices.

  • Run and maintain procedure setup, case templates, and mapping/registration protocols to streamline clinical workflow and reduce procedure time.

  • Develop, deliver, and update training materials: SOPs, quick-reference guides, e-learning modules, and simulation scenarios.

  • Collect clinical feedback and identify opportunities for system improvements; communicate clinical insights to product management and field service teams.

  • Support clinical evaluation studies, product launches, demos, and adoption initiatives.

  • Troubleshoot application-level issues (mapping accuracy, data integration, visualization) and coordinate with field service or vendor teams for hardware/network problems.

  • Assist with procedure planning, patient-specific case prep, and post-procedure data export/archiving as needed.

  • Promote compliance with institutional policies and device safety/regulatory requirements during training and support interactions.

  • Track and report training metrics, adoption KPIs, and incident reports per quality systems.

  • Able to travel for case support

Technical Skills & Competencies (Clinical)

  • Hands-on knowledge of EP lab instrumentation, catheter handling, and mapping workflows.

  • Ability to translate technical features into clinically actionable steps and teach at varying skill levels.

  • Basic troubleshooting of mapping inaccuracies, registration issues, and software workflows.

  • Comfortable creating training media: slide decks, videos, SOP documents, and simulation exercises.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and training schedules
