The Sr. Business Analytics & Operations Manager is a senior integrative role responsible for driving data‑driven decision making, operational excellence, and office governance across DPS China. The role combines business analytics leadership, sales operations governance, and DPS China office management to ensure the organization operates efficiently, compliantly, and with strong execution discipline.
Acting as a central connective hub, this role links Sales, Marketing, Finance, Strategic Support, IS, HR, and Admin—translating strategy into execution and ensuring day‑to‑day operations are supported by robust analytics, standardized processes, and effective office management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Analytics & Insight Leadership
Own DPS China’s business analytics framework, covering sales performance, market trends, channel effectiveness, and customer insights
Translate complex business and strategic questions into structured analyses, KPIs, and actionable insights
Lead development and maintenance of standardized dashboards, reports, and executive‑level analytics for leadership reviews
Provide forward‑looking insights to support planning, forecasting, resource allocation, and strategic decision‑making
2. Sales Operations Governance & Execution
Oversee end‑to‑end sales operations processes, including but not limited to:
Sample and asset management
Sales event and meeting support
Product complaint compensation processing
Hospital tendering and related approval workflows
Company chop and operational approval processes
Ensure operational stability, efficiency, and full compliance with company policies, controls, and audit requirements
Manage and guide outsourced service providers, including SLA definition, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement
3. Reporting, Performance Management & Compliance
Define and govern sales operations, analytics, and performance reporting standards
Monitor operational KPIs, service levels, and compliance indicators; proactively identify risks and gaps
Ensure alignment between operational data, commercial performance reporting, and financial narratives
Support internal audits, reviews, and control testing related to sales operations, analytics, and administrative processes
4. Business Requirement Translation & Cross‑Functional Enablement
Act as a bridge between DPS China business teams and IT/Digital on analytics, reporting, and systems utilization
Translate business needs into clear, prioritized analytics and operational requirements
Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders to resolve complex issues spanning Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, Compliance, HR, and Admin
Ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and compliant with governance standards
5. Data Governance, Quality & Scalability
Support and enforce data governance standards, including metric definitions, data ownership, access control, and appropriate usage
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, traceability, and transparency across analytics and operational outputs
Promote reuse of insights and standard data sources to reduce duplication and manual work
Contribute to building automation‑ready, scalable analytics and operations capabilities
6. DPS China Office Management & Administrative Governance
Oversee DPS China office management in coordination with relevant internal functions and service providers, including:
Office administration and facility‑related coordination
Company chop management and administrative controls
Support for inventory verification, asset tracking, and internal audits
Logistical support for internal meetings, townhalls, leadership offsites, and company events
Ensure office operations comply with company policies, internal controls, and local regulatory requirements
Act as the primary business owner coordinating with HR, Admin, Finance, and external vendors for office‑related matters
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, and employee experience in DPS China office operations
7. Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead, coach, and develop team members across business analytics, sales operations, and administrative support
Build team capability in structured problem solving, analytics rigor, process discipline, and compliance awareness
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, and service mindset
Drive standardization, simplification, and documentation of recurring analytics, operations, and office processes
8. Strategic & Ad‑Hoc Initiatives
Support DPS China leadership on strategic initiatives, business planning cycles, and transformation programs
Lead or contribute to ad‑hoc projects assigned by senior leadership
Act as a trusted thought partner to Commercial, Strategic Support, and functional leaders on execution and governance topics
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Analytics, Information Management, Engineering, Healthcare, or related fields
Advanced degree (MBA / Master’s) preferred
Experience
Significant experience in business analytics, sales operations, commercial excellence, operations management, or strategic support
Proven ability to operate at the intersection of data, processes, and organizational execution
Experience in multinational companies; healthcare / medical devices industry experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated people management and/or vendor management experience
Core Competencies
