DePuy Synthes is recruiting for an Education Solution Specialist. This hybrid position is located in Vienna, Austria
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. Role Purpose
The Analyst, Professional Medical Education supports the planning, coordination, execution, and analysis of Professional Medical Education (PME) programs for DePuy Synthes. The role ensures operational excellence, compliance, and data transparency across educational activities and acts as a key interface between Professional Education, commercial teams, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Professional Education Program Support
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of professional education programs, including courses, workshops, and congress-related activities
Assist in managing event logistics, documentation, and post‑event follow‑up
Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, ProfEd, Compliance) to ensure aligned execution
Data & Performance Analysis
Track and analyze education program KPIs, attendance, and effectiveness
Prepare reports and dashboards to support decision‑making and continuous improvement
Maintain accurate education program data in internal systems
Compliance & Governance
Ensure all professional education activities are conducted in accordance with DePuy Synthes compliance and ethical standards
Support documentation and approval workflows for educational events
Maintain audit‑ready documentation related to CME / non‑CME activities (as applicable)
Stakeholder Coordination
Act as a point of contact for faculty, healthcare professionals, vendors, and internal partners
Support communication with external education partners and service providers
Assist in managing speaker contracts, honoraria documentation, and expense tracking
Process Improvement
Contribute to the continuous improvement of education processes, tools, and reporting
Support digitalization and standardization initiatives within Professional Education
Qualifications
Required
Initial professional experience in medical education, healthcare, life sciences, or event management
Strong organizational, analytical, and coordination skills
High attention to detail and strong compliance mindset
Very good English skills (written and spoken)
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or related field
Experience in MedTech or Pharmaceutical environments
Familiarity with professional education, congress management, or training programs
Experience working in matrix organizations

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€42,000.00 - €67,735.00Benefits:
